A Roman Catholic ancient basilica( 6th century)Below the church there are huge catacombs, the Catacombe di S. Pancrazio or di Ottavilla. Entrance with with fragments of sculpture and pagan.

Christian basilica with three naves and Catacombs. Catacombs are located in 3 different areas : the first behind the apse of the basilica;the second descend from inside the basilica and is open to visitors;the third extends under the convent from which also is accessed.

The church of San Pancrazio is a Roman Catholic ancient basilica founded by Pope Symmachus in the 6th century.Below the church there are huge catacombs,Entrance is next to small Museo di S. Pancrazio

Ancient 5th century basilica and the original church of this famous Roman martyr, known as St. Pancras in English. Great place for a quiet afternoon read.
