It is common local knowledge, that this escarpment in Crickhowell was the inspiration for the hobbit settlement "Crickhollow" in Jrr Tolkien's The Hobbit. A must see for the fans of myth and legend.

Gorgeous walk that has several different paths up - i'll show you my favourites! Usually about 6 miles but can easily be extended for a full day out.
