Baker Lake Trail is about an hour from us, but on a clear day, it’s an amazing place to go. The full trail is 13.9 miles each way, but you can turn around at any time. Starting at the south trailhead, you’ll reach the log-and-cable bridge at about 1.25 miles. You can see the mountain somewhat here, but don’t miss the best view just down the trail. Cross bridge and continue less than 0.25 miles further to the sign for Anderson Point. Take a left there and go through the campsites to climb down to the water’s edge at the tip of the point. The view of Mount Baker is stunning!

This is a great stroll around Baker Lake with the beautiful volcano in the backdrop! Good for families and for those who rather stroll than climb a mountain.
