Although a restaurant you can just pop in for a coffee. Its near the park so you can have a wander and then a coffee in a lovely hotel. In the summer its lovely to sit out on the terrace. They do a lovely menu.

FANTASTIC cocktail bar across 3 rooms and an amazing terrace. Also a lovely restaurant, higher prices but worth it. great for a romantic dinner as located in the old chapel. They also do afternoon tea in the front lounges. Free parking at the back

Pricey but totally worth it. This place is set to hold Colchester's first Michelin Star. Great for special occasions! Try their Afternoon Tea or an incredible inventive Cocktail.
