If you’re a person who needs a destination when on a walk or bike ride, here’s one. This park is an easy walk down to the sound and back around. Wear bug spray in the summer.

Explore the Emerald Isle Woods! Perfect for photo opps. You will find a Frisbee Golf Course here too! Local Directions: Coming over the Emerald Isle bridge from the mainland, turn right at the first light onto Coast Guard Road. The park is on the right after a half mile. The first tee is in the opening to the right (East), next to the main parking lot.
