Wonderful hiking and views (Check the website to see if they are open due to c19)
The Lucius Pond Ordway Devil's Den Preserve in Weston and Redding, Connecticut, encompassing 1,746 acres, is the largest preserve in Fairfield County, Connecticut and one of the larger preserves in the metropolitan New York area.
Beautiful nature preserve, with trails and rivers. Great for a walk in nature!
This is probably our favorite hiking spot around. Multiple trails all through the forest, with a pond and scenic overlooks along the way. Highly recommend Devil's Den if you like hiking and have a few hours available. Bring your camera!

“Good place for a short run; open field to throw a Frisbee. What's not to like about 190 park acres in the neighborhood.”

Grocery or Supermarket
“This local chain grocery store is very unique, and worth a visit if you have never been. Complete with a petting zoo, singing mechanical animals and characters, and aisles set up like a corn maze; it's sort of Tarantino meets National Lampoon's. Beyond the interesting experience, the food and prices are both really good. We do most of our regular grocery shopping here.”
