Great cafe for tasty local produce and open relaxed vibe.

Great cafe in the village serving tea, coffee, a selection of freshly baked homemade cakes, light lunches, and hearty meals. Open 10 AM to 5 PM Very dog friendly. Owned by Yew tree farm at the head of the valley so most of the meat is sourced from the farm.

Our favourite coffee shop/ lunch pit stop when visiting the more touristy lakes , gorgeous cakes , soup, pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches, The meat comes from the Yew Tree Farm - Beatrix Potter.
