The another option is BM Yam Rice (大山脚芋饭). This food is Bukit Mertajam people’s pride, ask any BM people, they will surely recommend to you their BM Yam Rice. To eat this awesome food, you have to take 30 mins drive from island. I personally have tried it before and genuinely love it. The rice is tossed together with powdery yam, and the broth is superb!
