Over from the sandy beach is the wonderful rock Gardens. Many unusual fauna and plants with plenty seating and secluded sheltered areas to admire the view.

Situated at the end of the Broughty Ferry Esplanade, near Monifieth, the rock garden is a lovely spot if you enjoy nature, wildlife or horticulture. Managed by a team of volunteers, the garden is easily reached by car, on foot or by bicycle. It actually sits on part of Dundee's much loved Green Circular, a 26-mile cycle route which circumnavigates the city.
