Traditional ale and whisky. The Briton’s Protection is one of the oldest pubs in the city centre. Dating back to 1806, it is said to have been ‘used as a refuge by folk escaping from the Peterloo Massacre of 1819

Probably my favourite traditional pub in all of Manchester. Great local ales and over 350 different whiskeys to choose from! :)
