Britain's longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel, under the Pennines, opened in 1811. Marsden Station is a 15 minute walk along the beautifully restored Huddersfield Narrow Canal towpath. Visitor centre and cafe.

If you fancy a stroll up the canal to see some sights then tunnel end is well worth a visit.
