A small beach in a small bay, this beach is lovely for families with young children as the water is shallow. Also a nice playground and grassy area just across the carpark.

Great protected beach with reserve. Very popular with families and young kids, as there is a playground there as well. popular for picnics.

Very sheltered swimming beach with a small playground for the kids. An anchored pontoon is great fun to dive off at high tide. Great picnic spots on the grass reserve.

Another small family friendly beach about 20 mins walk up Beach Rd or 5 mins by car. There is a short cut walking track at top of hill down to reserve and beach. For more exercise and panoramic views continue up to Kennedy Park which was an important Maori Pa site and an observation post during WWII

Our local beach, great park and safe beach. Fantastic cliff top walk from the Northern end to Kennedy Park
