Welcome to a truly unique stay! Our property is home to two special ventures—our goat rental business, Scapegoats, and our nonprofit animal sanctuary, Mousam Misfits. While goats are part of the charm, they’re just the beginning—you may also see a variety of rescued animals during your visit. If you love animals and a one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll feel right at home here! We are about 150 ft from the Mousam River, and guests have access to kayaks (for free!) Safe Harbor Mini Farm

Come relax in rural Brooks. Enjoy a fire under the star filled sky and wake up to the sound of roosters crowing. The camper has all the amenities of home, but we are next door if anything else is needed. We have dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks! We are happy to show you the animals or you are welcome to just peacefully enjoy your stay! Brooks is 15 minutes from Belfast, 40 minutes from Camden and 45 minutes from Bangor. We have many suggestions of fun places to visit during your stay!!

Reconnect with nature at this private escape. Our 21 foot Winnebago is fully equipped for your stay. Located on MDI and near Acadia National Park. Private but not isolated and easy to find, on 3 wooded acres. Explore the island by day and the stars at night. This is your own solo campground! Shower outside, s’mores by the fire, and Blackstone grill available for summer BBQ’s. Deer roam through the yard, cardinals, robins and hummingbirds hang out at the site, eagles and osprey fly overhead.
