Cedar Cottage is an attractively positioned cabin set in 1200 acres of tranquil parkland on the historic Duns Castle estate. A four bedroom property with all accommodation on one level reached by 4 steps, it sleeps eight people comfortably. Set in its own secluded garden beside the historic walled garden looking onto fields grazed by sheep, this sunny, warm spacious cottage is ideal for couples, bird-watchers, family holidays, walkers, fishermen and golfers. Access to walks in the extensive grounds, which include woodland, hill vistas and a splendid lake. Hard Tennis court available (may not be in top condition!) Please bring your own rackets and balls. The village of Duns, offering a good selection amenities (supermarket, shops, restaurants, library, public swimming pool, health centre etc), is only 10 minutes walk away. Property details: All situated on the Ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms (one double with ensuite bathroom and power shower cubicle, a second double bedroom, one twin room and one bunk-bed room), family bathroom with bath, power shower cubicle and toilet, utility room. Garden with patio furniture, ample parking. Included: gas-fired central heating (timed by owner), electricity, towels and bed linen. Forestgrove is a Georgian House built in 1837, in a quiet street five minutes walk to Kelso town centre. This is a perfect base to explore the Scottish Borders . Access from the house door you will have the entire basement floor complete with bedroom with shower, separate lounge/living room and WC. Tea, coffee, fresh milk facilities are provided free of charge .Couples with small baby or toddler welcome. Work trips or friends travelling there is a sofa bed available £25 extra charge for linen.

A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Lime Tree Cottage is situated on our family farm, close to the steading and surrounded by mature trees. Recently renovated to include super fast broadband, the cottage provides luxury accommodation for 4. Scenic walks from your door with cattle and sheep nearby and a variety of woodlands to explore. This is an ideal location to explore East Berwickshire, with Coldingham Bay and St. Abbs Head National Nature Reserve nearby. Edinburgh is one hour away, famous for its Castle and festivals.

Farm Cottage Annex with Stunning Sea Views

Our 1 bedroom Pet Friendly Cottage Annex on the family farm, overlooking the North Sea and Firth of Forth, is within minutes of the beautiful coastline and yet just 50 minutes drive south of Edinburgh city. With ensuite shower room and lounge/diner, this Annex has a small fridge, an inverter microwave oven, a 2 ring hob and a 32" TV. Wifi is available but locally, we have great food, world class diving and golf, challenging cycle ways, cliff top walks and tons of fresh sea air. See you soon.

Dog friendly and in a perfect location for walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists, being just south of the Lammermuir hills. Free parking for cars and off-street parking for cyclists and motorcyclists. Easy day-trip access to the beautiful Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Holy Island, Bamburgh, Berwick upon Tweed, Kelso and Alnwick.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The White House

Based on a historic castle estate, explore Berwickshire's best sights and scenery from an enchanting woodland setting. A family and dog-friendly retreat great for golfers, walkers or beach-lovers - plus motorsports enthusiasts. The White House is a charming period cottage dating to when adjacent Duns Castle received a grand Gothic Revival makeover in the 1820s. That fortress's walled garden now borders the length of The White House's own garden - a lovely, lawned space.

The Bothy

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the borders town of Coldstream. Ideal for walkers, golfers, fishing or just visiting the historic Scottish borders. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.
