The coast to coast John Muir Way is a short distance away. There are a number of famous golf courses, sandy beaches and tourist attractions nearby.

With ensuite shower room and lounge/diner, this Annex has a small fridge, an inverter microwave oven, a 2 ring hob and a 32" TV. The Puffin Burrow is a lovely self-contained apartment on the ground floor of this magnificent Georgian House. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The modern bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and shower and there is another separate loo. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

Tucked away up an alley, the flat is just a stones throw from the harbour, a lively high street full of good shops , two museums and plenty of places to eat and drink. Dunbar is popular with walkers, cyclists and water enthusiasts and offers some fabulous leisurely walking on the John Muir Way and our beautiful East Lothian coast.

Relax in our beautiful cottage with fantastic views, log burning stove, super king size bed and large walk in shower. Whether you want to be active or just relax, Howden Cottage is a great base to enjoy all the delights of East Lothian. If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.
