Named after our 5-pound Pomeranian, Rooster who lives upstairs, our property is pet friendly with plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small creek which runs along the property. West Jefferson, Boone, Moravian Falls and many ski areas are within close proximity as well! Please come enjoy this oasis in the foothills.

With an open floor plan, the lodge offers a loft and primary bedroom with a unique, spacious feel. Whether you're here for a relaxing getaway or need to work remotely, our super-fast Wi-Fi allows you to stay connected with ease. Important: The spiral staircases are tight. Please be mindful if traveling with small children or elderly guests.

Cozy log cabin home centrally located in Western North Carolina about 40 minutes to Boone/Blowing Rock and 1.5 hours to Asheville and Charlotte. Amazing views in this private and gated mountain community. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you walk down to community waterfall or take a five minute drive to the public swimming beach on Kerr Lake. Our home is close to the Kerr Mountain Reservoir and some of the best mountain biking, hiking (Warrior Creek, Dark Mountain Park), and disc golf courses (Rolling Pines, Fort Hamby Park, Ashe County Park) in NC. We are close to the towns of Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro...Merle Fest! Relax, breathe the fresh cool mountain air and enjoy the natural beauty.

Blueberry Hill Cottage: town and country

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services Amazon and Netflix. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from the private rear deck or walk the 2.6 acres of grounds, part landscaped, part garden, and part natural. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged per stay.

The Ayers House

The Ayer’s House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wilkesboro, NC. You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. W. Kerr Scott Reservoir is 4 miles away and offers fishing, swimming and boating. If mountain biking is your thing, drive across the dam and you will find top notch riding at the Dark Mountain Park. Downtown Wilkesboro is just 2.5 miles away and offers several restaurants, shops and the Wilkes Heritage Museum.

Fram’s Place

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This home is a relatively new build in a completely private location. Spend the afternoon rocking on the porch (you might be joined by the resident kitty cats!) and the evening roasting marshmallows at the fire pit for s’mores! You're only 25 miles from Boone and the High Country and just moments from local shopping, attractions, and restaurants at this residence! There are also two TVs for your enjoyment.

Escape to our tiny creek side cabin for a unique nature experience. Enjoy breathtaking forest views by day, and stargaze by night, from expansive windows and glass roof. Listen to the sounds of the creek directly in front of cabin. There is a detached bathroom, with toilet, cold water sink, and outdoor hot shower. This is for someone who loves nature and simplicity and wants to unplug for a true getaway experience.
