Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Shiloh Cottage

Slow down and experience country life on our little plot of land. The cottage is located on our 6 acre property with a tree-lined view with cows in the pasture from the front porch and a sweet view of the ducks in the pond and sheep grazing from the bedroom window. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, 2 cats, and chickens. There might be occasional barking. If prolonged, we will bring them in. Fully stocked kitchen. There is always plenty of coffee, coffee creamer, and homemade scones for breakfast.

The falls are lit after dark, and 38 windows and skylights pull in daylight by day, then frame the stars at night. One-bedroom cabin w/ air conditioner, heaters, queen bed, full kitchen, living area, and bathroom with hot shower & indoor dry-flush toilet (does not use water). TV, Wifi, linens, dishes, coffee/tea, breakfast foods, fridge/freezer, microwave, fire pit, picnic table, and more! Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Explore our 5 acre property and visit the small pond in back. Please ensure pets are leashed - we have ducks. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house.
