The historic town of Menai Bridge (porthaethwy)on the Menai strait is full of amazing eateries and beautiful views and the home of Bangor uni's Ocean Sciences. These rooms are situated next to the Auckland Arms pub, well known for its relaxed cosmopolitan atmosphere and fabulous range of spirits, cocktails and beers. Frequented by locals and many visitors alike, some traveling far to 'chill' in this quirky little bar. No food is on offer but you can bring it in, they will even give you a plate!

You can stroll along the canal bank, catch a train from Risca train station which is 4minutes walk away (270yds) to Cardiff to an event (30 minutes by train). You can cycle or walk in the Cwmcarn Forest Drive 5 miles away or the Syrhowy Valley trail enjoyable for all levels of fitness and ability. You can relax and enjoy the lovely cottage in the light, comfortable indoor space or the pretty garden.

We are ideally located for easy access the Snowdonia National Park, ideal for climbers, walkers, hikers, and those who love the outdoors, & various adventure activities are all within an easy drive. With private parking, and nearby access to public transport, beaches, town centers, quayside, traditional pubs, and restaurants, make it a perfect destination for your holiday.

Tony & Chris (and their 3 doggies) invite you to come stay in their home and will give you a very warm welcome. This lovely, spacious room is a double, but can be increased to a triple with a comfy portable Z-bed if needed. Brohedyn is a large Victorian villa situated in the village of Adpar, part of the small market-town of Newcastle Emlyn. We also have another luxury double/triple rooms potentially available with shared shower room, and a Grand Superking Room with private luxury bathroom

We have 6 (3 listed) refurbished rooms in the Coach House which sits in the courtyard of our 16th century Inn. Our home is a cozy stone walled, oak beamed, traditional Inn with an inglenook fireplace, perfect for relaxing and using as a base if you are looking for holidays around cycling, riding, walking, fishing, sightseeing, bird watching, there is so much to do here in the valleys of Ceredigion. We are 25 mins from the coast too! We welcome pets in specific rooms, we are not licensed.

Our house is conveniently situated for anyone wanting to take in the beauty of North Wales. Snowdonia National Park is only a few miles away, Snowdon mountain/railway is about 10 miles drive. Anglesey is just across the Menai Straits (a 20-30 minute walk to the bridge). Llandudno is only a 20 mile drive. Convenient for the A55, railway station, bus stops, University, hospital and the Ferry port at Holyhead. Bangor has many restaurants, bars and is only a 15 minute walk from the house.

Activities such as Horse Riding, Rock climbing, water-sports etc. locally. The room is in the village of Llangors joining the newly renovated Red Lion pub near the stream, church and excellent village shop & cafe (open 7 days a week). The room offers comfortable value accommodation with own entrance & en suite.

The Glamping pod also contains a microwave, twin electric hob, fridge free Wifi and underfloor heating to keep you nice and cosy in the winter months.

For the Golfers we are less than 2 miles from Machynys Peninsula Golf Club and 5 miles from Ashburnham Golf Club.

Easy access to the hiking trails of the Brecon Beacons and only minutes from the main A40 access road. The perfect location for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen. For cyclists the renowned Black Mountain begins 500 metres from the gate. Cars and motorcycles have plenty of room to park.
