Charming carriage house on very private 8 acres overlooking Walnut Pond. The long driveway takes you past our vegetable/herb garden, a log cabin build in 1789 and across Little Nishisakawick Creek. The carriage house is bright & cozy with lovely views & private patio - great for nature watching. We live in the adjacent converted barn. 3 miles from historic Frenchtown on the Delaware River, close to Bucks County with a great variety of restaurants, miles of towpath & old river towns to explore.

Built in 1836, welcome to our river home. Step right into the sun filled living room with wood floors, wood beam ceiling and a wood fireplace. As you make your way through the first level, you will find a mudroom with exterior access and an adjoining half bathroom, a dinning room and a kitchen with access to the outdoor deck and large fenced back yard. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and one extra room, along with a bathroom. The rooms are surrounded with both garden and river views.

Two night minimum, no pets, and while we do not have a kitchen there is a refrigerator, microwave and please do enjoy a cup of coffee on us.

This historic structure is full of character and is part of the Kingston Mill Historic District - named after the building. Built in 1893, the mill is located at the base of Lake Carnegie and is an easy trip into Princeton for visiting the University, shops, and restaurants, but also a wonderful place to just relax. There’s a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and a gas grill outside. Enjoy the ping pong table and wood burning pit outside too.
