We will begin our classes with teaching everyone how to make pasta from scratch: ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle! We provide also a vegan alternative with dough without eggs. You will learn how to do 3 types of long pasta, 3 of short, and 4 different kind of ravioli. You can take this knowledge with you to your own kitchen with a copy of our recipes for you.

Kids Love It! Adults Love It! And the dogs will love that you came to walk them and play with them. We'll all meet at the amazing Shelter Island! You will meet our pack of rescue dogs of all sizes and origins, and help us exercise, socialize and publicize them! It helps these neglected (and sometimes abused) dogs learn to trust people again, and socializes them for public adoption events! We will walk the dogs the length of the Island and back, with great views of the marina, the ocean and across to the Navy yards. You will play with the dogs, help socialize them including treat-time, and get lot's of Instagram worthy photos! We will end at the beach , and then you will have time to explore Shelter Island and perhaps grab a coffee at a local shop! Other things to note It will probably be sunny! Wear sunscreen. You may want to wade in the water, or even swim, dress appropriately for that, and for the sand!

We will be snorkeling in Mission Bay, a calm, flat body of water that feeds into the Pacific Ocean. Being in the bay, we typically encounter small fish, interesting algae, and lots of invertebrates, including sea slugs, octopus, urchins, and sea stars! After a brief safety and snorkel etiquette talk, we will explore the area for one hour. I will point out and provide detailed information on the flora and fauna we encounter during the experience! *If you are a non-swimmer, feel free to book a private tour and/or message me to see if this is the right experience for you. Sometimes guests can be overwhelmed by the water, but this is the perfect place to learn! Your excursion starts with a short orientation at our office, where I will show on a nautical chart, the area covered during the trip, describing the types of whales and dolphins, as well as other marine life you are likely to see, and where you might see each type. When everyone is comfortably seated on board, we will motor slowly out of the basin, and enjoy a "warm up" stop by the bait receivers to see our California sea lions, and a multitude of different birds. Then the boat will pick up speed for an exhilarating high speed run out to where the whales and dolphins are usually found. Once we have located the animals we slowly approach them, so as not to disturb them. Quite often the dolphins will come directly up to the boat and begin to surf our wake or bow ride in front of us. Whales are observed from a safe distance (as required by law), but still close enough to hear them breathing! What a wonderful sound that is! As the boat heads back to the harbor you can be sure that you have had the experience of a lifetime, one that we hope will be the highlight of your stay in San Diego. You will arrive at the picnic location and be greeted by your host, who will walk you down a trail for around 5-7 minutes to your fully set up picnic. This trail is accessible for beginners but does involve uneven terrain, so good balance and footing is helpful. Once you sit down upon the plush seating, you will be able to soak up the incredible views of this location. Your menu offerings of choice will already be elegantly spread along the table, ready for your enjoyment. These are physical adventures suitable for hikers with moderate experience. Having proper footwear is important. I highly recommend shoes with excellent traction that are ok to get wet, typical water shoes are not appropriate. Be prepared to get wet above your knees, possibly above your waist. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by your smiling Captain and lead down the docks past hundreds of beautiful sail and motor yachts and welcomed aboard your boat for the tour. You'll be shown around the boat and asked casual questions to better deliver the perfect experience. From there you'll be able to move about the boat and settle in as your Captain prepares for departure. As you head out of the Marina, you'll see many beautiful boats and sites while taking in the fresh ocean breeze. Once on the bay, the sail goes up and the engine shuts off and the sound and feel of moving across the water powered only by the wind begins to excite and incite. Making way toward the scenic downtown skyline, you'll pass many historic ships and points of interest while your captain narrates tidbits of interesting facts about each encounter. Welcome to our little farm! We're so excited to share what life on a urban farm is like. To start, we will greet you at the front of our house. Please let us know if you're afraid of dogs because our dog is friendly but quite big. Then, we'll take you out back to the farm where you'll be able to meet and play amongst the goats. We'll either be waking up the goats in the morning or bringing them back inside for bedtime. As this is a hands on experience, you may want to bring clothes that you don't mind dirtying. While here, you can play and cuddle with the goats, and I'll share more about how to take care of them. Being a goat owner is so much fun and I am happy to share more with you. You can feed them, play with them, cuddle them. We also do have a bunch of chickens, and many of them lay awesome, naturally coloured eggs. You are welcome to collect and purchase some of these eggs while you are visiting. If you'd like, you can bring apples, carrots (a few) or goat treats (found at a feed store), but we also have a few snacks to share with you! Join me on a journey through one of San Diego's most iconic places! Since this park is large, we will be touring the major sites with the wind in our hair on electric scooters. No walking required ;) We will start by going over the basic operation of the scooters & getting comfortable riding in a quiet area of the park. From there, we will start our adventure! I will guide you through each section of Balboa sharing my unique knowledge of the park, stopping for photos along the way. The first stop will be the botanical building & lily pond where we will pause for some pictures. Next, we will briefly cruise to the entrance to the San Diego Zoo before heading to the Spanish Village Arts Center. We will then scoot to the Morton Bay Fig Tree. It's then time to ride down the iconic El Prado passing fountains & museums along the way. After a quick stop, we will head past the International cottages on our way to the air & space museum. We will wrap up at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion before heading back to where we started. If you want to see Balboa park in a unique way with a local guide, then this is the tour for you! Join me in the land of miniatures. You will learn how and get to create tiny pottery on a mini pottery wheel. No previous pottery experience necessary! Overlooking a beautiful canyon with vistas of mountains east of San Diego, you will experience the green of fruit trees and birdsong, in this relaxing indoor outdoor art studio. This experience includes clay, glazing and firing of the clay. You will get to choose one color of glaze per pot. The clay cannot be taken home at the time of the class because it must be kiln fired. The turn around is about a week for drying, glazing, and firing. If you are visiting from out of town, I will be able to ship it to you for a minimum of $10/box. If you are local, I will contact you to know when they are ready to pick up. Depending on your location, we can also set up a time to meet up so I can get you back your miniature creations.

During this 1 hour walking tour, you will see several of the Embarcadero’s most popular haunted locations while learning of spooky spirits, disease, death and espionage.
