Craftsman Bungalow Guest House

Welcome to the Craftsman Bungalow Guest House. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. Our Main Street (Cumberland St/Il Rt 121) is also part of the National Road, attractive old architecture, beautiful overhanging porches leading to our Covered Bridge

The Candy Kitchen

Take a step back in time as you enter this authentic 1930's Soda Fountain located in downtown Greenup Village of the Porches situated on the Historic National Road. The Loomis Family immigrated from Greece and operated the Soda Fountain and Confectionary until the 1960's. It has since been transformed into a spacious and comfortable living area with the original Soda Fountain still intact, beautiful tin ceiling, and also includes a large kitchen, a separate shower room & powder room.

The Relax Inn - Whole Home - 3 bed 2 bath

This stylish recently remodeled house is perfect for the weekend getaway or a long-term stay. The home offers plenty of room for the whole family as well as pets. There is a nicely shaded back yard with a swing set, playhouse and patio. The house provides all the necessary amenities and a few extras for a comfortable stay. The house is located close to the Robinson Refinery and offers plenty of parking. This property is designed for comfort for traveling workers and their families.

The Main Street Retreat-NO CLEANING FEES

Enjoy your time to simply get away or as a must need sleep over due to travel or work. Only 14 miles south of I70. A Dollar General Store, Subway and Gas Station are nearby. Ten minute drive south to Sullivan for Walmart, restaurants, and grocery stores. Fifteen minute drive north to Terre Haute for all the city attractions. County and State Parks are near by as well. Located in a great neighborhood on main street with privacy. Maximum of only four adults allowed per reservation.

The bedroom has a queen size bed and the sofa has a memory foam queen size pull out bed. We’ve added a desk in the dining room and a cute coffee bar in the kitchen. You can enjoy the enclosed front porch while relaxing in the rocking chairs. We have a full size washer and dryer located off of the kitchen .

On the main floor you'll find an eat-in kitchen furnished with the basics for cooking and baking, a relaxing living room, a bedroom with a full bed, a full bathroom, and a desk/work area for when duty calls. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a queen bed, one with a full-sized bed, and another one with a full and a twin sized bed.

Enjoy an outdoor fire pit while having the entire house to yourself. Enjoy an unforgettable experience at this centrally-located private home. We are conveniently located near I-70 and south side shopping, restaurants, movie theater, etc. Our home is thoughtfully furnished with everything you need and then some. You’ll enjoy a basement complete with an air hockey table, card/ game table and a Pac-Man arcade game. We offer off street parking in the driveway. This is a non smoking unit.
