Casa Isabella: Serenity By The Sea

Casa Isabella is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the the village of Malfa on the island of Salina, one of the seven Aeolian Islands off the north-west coast of Sicily. This two storey house was recently renovated to exceptional standards and restored in typical Aeolian style with a contemporary twist, sleeping two people comfortably. The house has magnificent uninterrupted views over the ocean, including from the double bedroom, the two covered outdoor terraces and the front garden. It is bordered by grape vines on one side, olive trees to the other, and the ocean in front. The double bedroom upstairs has a window overlooking the sea and also views back to Malfa, and has an en-suite bathroom and shower. Downstairs there is a large living area that opens onto a covered terrace which is perfect for entertaining, a modern eat-in kitchen opening to another terrace, and another bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is minimalist in design with resin floors and new fittings throughout. All bedding and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heating for the colder months, as well as a slow combustion fire-place. The house has television and wifi, but no telephone. Mobile reception is good. The house is a 5 minute walk from Malfa shops and village square, a 10 minute walk to Malfa port and a 15 minute walk to Punta Scario Beach. It has plenty of parking space for a car and/or scooters, both of which can be rented in Malfa. Casa Isabella is perfect for a week, a month or the whole summer season! Minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Isabella is also our holiday home, and we ask that you treat it as if it were yours. Upon arrival, we will supply a full information guide to the house, restaurants and other sites and services in Malfa, and the surrounding islands. Cleaning fee is €50 and is to be paid in cash directly to the cleaner upon checkout. PLEASE NOTE, THIS HOUSE IS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS ONLY.

L'Agave è una casa di fine Ottocento situata in una delle più panoramiche e comode zone dell'isola di Salina, nelle isole Eolie. La proprietaria, scenografa del teatro e cinema italiano, ha curato l'arredo con amore ed eleganza e nel rispetto dello stile dell'isola. In 2 minuti si raggiunge una delle spiagge più suggestive, la spiaggia di Scario, che per la vicinanza, sembra la spiaggia privata della casa. E' possibile tra l'altro raggiungere l'antico borgo di pescatori con una piacevole passeggiata, dove potrete riconoscere alcuni luoghi del film Il Postino. Posto ideale per trascorrere una vacanza all'insegna del relax.

"Gelso 2" dista 200 mt dalla baia Punta Scario, 700 m dal porticciolo dei pescatori e 300 m dal centro del paese. Due viali di ingresso accedono alla casa uno lato baia Punta Scario e l'altro lato via Nilo centro del paese. Si compone di camera matrimoniale con bagno e propria terrazza vista mare, camera con due letti singoli con soluzione per altro matrimoniale, cucina pranzo, soggiorno con divano letto matrimoniale, secondo bagno e ampia seconda terrazza attrezzata vista mare e tramonto.

Casa Rosa

The Pink House is divided in two independent apartments (see photos Casa Rosa A and B). Each apartment has one double bedroom, a large kitchen/living room with one couch bed and one bathroom with a shower. The apartment B also has one built in mezzanine with a two single beds. The house has been renewed in 2019, but its colors and frames have been kept unchanged just the way they were 100 years ago. You will be assigned Casa Rosa A or B depending on availability.

A casa di Gian, la base perfetta

Rilassati in questo spazio tranquillo in posizione centrale. 20 metri dai servizi principali e dalla fermata del bus, dopo le 17.00 il bus ferma a 5 minuti a piedi. Nonostante la centralità, la casa è abbastanza riservata da far dimenticare tutto il resto. La spiaggia di Punta Scario, una delle più belle dell'isola di Salina, è raggiungibile in 15 minuti di passeggiata.

Dall'ingresso si accede all'ampia zona con letto matrimoniale, con balconcino vista mare e cielo, e zona cucina con le tipiche ceramiche siciliane dalla quale si accede al bagno con antibagno. La casetta ed il terrazzo sono pavimentati con il prezioso cotto siciliano trattato per preservarlo e lasciato al naturale.
