A gas station with convenient store is also right at the exit. Thompson Springs is quiet away from the crowds with antelope and wild turkeys visiting.

This 1928 coal miner's home feels a little like going to Grandma's house. It is localed on a quiet street with pretty views from the hill behind the house. Helper's Historic downtown is an approx 1/4 mile walk to the east (down the historic staircase, under the freeway tunnel & over the swinging bridge). The town is filled with character & history. It is a great stay for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to recharge. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a small fee.
