Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline. Interior cabin exhibits variety of cultural nostalgia from the local family's home and tradition. We hope you come away with peace, tranquility of God's nature and restorative living water .

Awaken in a luxury king size bed and slide open the garage door to sweeping views of the Smokies. Enjoy coffee on the deck. Fully furnished bed and bath, AC/Heat and kitchenette. Pets permitted $40/first pet $20/each additional pet. Area is fenced. Listen to the river while lying in the in-deck hammock. The perfect stage for a restful afternoon or night time stargazing. The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. Cozy mountain cabin, basic, simple, and relaxing!

"Rustic cabin located on a short walk from the Appalachian Trail surrounded by national forest and isolated. The cabin has a gas fireplace for heat and relaxation and a fire pit to relax outside. The loft has plenty of room with a full size bed and a single twin on main level. The cabin is set up as a getaway, there is no cell service but satellite wifi is available and a smart TV, not high tech but you can communicate with the outside world.

Spring Mountain House

Spring mountain house is a modern micro cabin perched above the creek in a lush mountain forest. Scandinavian inspired, this cabin was designed and built by the hosts using site-harvested lumber and custom hand-crafted wood and metalwork features. The cabin lays on a south-facing mountain covered in rhododendron forest with the view and sounds of the creek below.
