With a 5 minute walk to the main historic area/main shopping area and a 2 minute walk to major supermarkets, the studio is well connected. Wifi included. Church Cottage lies in 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the beautiful village of Escrick, 6 miles from the centre of York. The building dates back to 1850 and is also home to an award-winning Thai restaurant The Old Spa Rooms are situated on the first floor and are self-contained and not shared. This spacious apartment has a bright and airy sitting/dining room with solid bamboo floors and lovely garden views. There's also a separate kitchen, luxury bathroom and large double/twin bedroom.

There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
