Raven is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday chalet that can sleep up to 4 people. With a spacious, open plan kitchen, living and dining area the property benefits from large double glazed windows leading to a private patio with garden furniture and BBQ offering unrestricted views over Loch Dochart, Glen Dochart, the famous Ben More and the surrounding mountains. A truly magnificent Highland setting and a view that will be hard to beat from a self catering holiday property in Scotland. With all the comforts from home (and more) the Raven is equipped to a high 5 star standard with a king size double bed in the master bedroom with ensuite, large beds in the twin bedroom, separate bathroom with large bath and power shower over. 5 star treats include Messentex treated goose down duvets and soft Egyptian cotton bed linen. We pride ourselves on the comfort of our beds which are hotel grade 2000 spring pocket sprung mattresses with cashmere top. A holiday would not be a holiday without a good night's sleep. Soft white fluffy towels, face cloth, bathrobes, slippers, eye mask and Arran Aromatic toiletries. Also included is an entertainment system with 37" LCD TV with SKY TV package with Sports, Blu Ray DVD, Nintendo Wii and WiFi. Raven is also equipped with a wood burning stove. Situated on the Portnellan Estate high on a hillside with commanding views over Glen Dochart, Raven has a magnificent setting with a true Highland landscape all around. Often complimented by the abundance of bird and wild life that an be seen on the estate. It is not unusual to see the deer meandering off the hill and passing nearby the chalet. The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for over 40 years and offers fantastic facilities to include fresh run salmon and trout fishing on the estate lochs and river, plenty of cycling on and off road for all abilities. There are kayaks, paddle boards and rowing boats on the river and lochs and a games room offering a pool table, table tennis and table football as well as a wee gym. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged. Wifi is available throughout the estate as well as BBQ hire. A wee visitors centre offers you th use of a DVD library, a selection of board games as well as local produce for sale to include honey, a range of hand made candles, eggs from our ducks on the estate and organic meat products fresh from a farm locally, perfect for the BBQ or home cooking. The Portnellan Estate is so centrally located for exploring Central/West Scotland with known landmarks only a short distance away. Oban 45 mins, Stirling, Fort William and Glasgow just over an hour. Edinburgh 1.5 hours. Glen Coe and all it beholds is less than 40 mins drive and the bonnie shores of Loch Lomond are 20 mins by car. Other areas include the truly beautiful Glen Lyon and Loch Tay, Glen Etive, Glen Lochay and Glen Orchy all within the local area. Lagavulin Hall is a 120 year old converted church in an attractive sheltered position, in its own garden, with views across Surnaig Bay to the ruins of Dunyveg Castle. The holiday let conversion has been done with a great deal of care and attention to the original features and external appearance of the building and has maintained the sense of space and light in the interior. The interior is grand and simple and furnished with many interesting pieces, as well as plain comfortable sofas.

This 6 berth static holiday caravan is situated within Cloch Caravan Site which has 24 acres of mature woodland as its setting. This is a beautiful location along the River Clyde and close to the Cloch Lighthouse by Gourock, We welcome dog(s) but we do restrict to a maximum of two animals. As a responsible dog owner you are expected to clean up after them. The caravan has wire mesh around the base to ensure dogs (and toddlers) cannot get under the caravan and make a bid for freedom..
