The Sleepout

Tidy modern sleep out with private bathroom, shower, bedroom, kitchenette, Facility has microwave, small bbq. Off Street parking. Quiet location with a short walk for elevated views over Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, Flaxmill Bay, Shakespears Cliff and Cooks Beach. Six minute drive to the centre of town, close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Whitianga and surrounding Coromandel. Take a short walk to take in the views over Wharekaho beach or follow the paths to take you to the beach.

The Black Blonde Bach tiny home glamping

3 free standing Tiny Cottages Cottage 1 is your kitchenette, lounge with with views. Full size fridge, freezer in porch. Covered BBQ area. TV, stereo, radio, WIFI, heating, portable fans. Up ladder to loft bedroom with double floor mattress and fabulous views. Cottage 2 is your romantic bedroom with French doors opening onto deck with views. Bunk room off enclosed porch,2 bunk beds . Across the drive is the 3rd cottage/bathroom facilities /kitchen sink, hot and cold water/washing machine.

The Treehouse Bush Retreat

Unique, private, expansive bush environment; a true retreat. Beautiful views down a valley of regenerating bush and out to sea - with Great Barrier island in the distance. Away from it all but handy to it all. NB: Please ask about our additional accommodation, The Empty Nest - www.airbnb.co.nz/rooms/1503971971744608483. Ideal for two couples travelling together but wanting more privacy. One couple can book The Treehouse and one The Empty Nest. Treehouse cooking facilities can then be shared.

'The 'Camp' holidays of yesteryear at Cooks Beach

A sunny north facing section with plenty of room for boats & tents. Nightly rate is for 4 people. A short 5-10min walk to Cooks beach. Great places for safe swimming & watersports. 15 min drive to Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove & Hahei. There are 4 cabins. Freezer, washing machine, bbq, 4 Kayaks & 2 bikes for use. Larger groups up to 15 welcome by arrangement. Sheets/towels can be hired. Toilet/shower are accessed from outside. Suits hardy travellers in winter- please view photos.

Beachsider Magic

Absolute beach front with panoramic views of Cooks Beach and Shakespeare Cliffs. It is very much a private beach with safe swimming and anchorage and the apartments are situated in the best part of it. There are 3 apartments, this upstairs 3 bedroom unit has 2 decks on each side of the house for sun and amazing views. There is plenty of parking for your car and boat and also 2 barbeques for the guests to enjoy! This is a family beach home, comfortably furnished so you can relax.

Studio with a View

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Private, quiet, yet so close to beach and town

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Hidden away down narrow concrete steps and closely surrounded by bush with a peep of sea, this peaceful space is ideal for a quiet retreat. Just 500 mtrs to the beach for a swim or walk the 4 kms into town. A 5 minute drive along the beach front to the cafes, restaurants and bars . Its calm, close to everything yet hidden away. Access not suited for those with limited mobility.

Bush studio apartment

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling! A place to relax and recharge only 3 minutes drive to Kuaotunu village and beach.

On street car parking available, with private access seperate from house. Small outdoor deck with a private fence with a rural outlook. DUE TO HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS THERE IS NO POOL ACCESS.
