The property has a private lake, stunning views undestrubed by modern life and urban lighting. Ballyrisode beach is a 5 minutes drive away along with numberous walking trials in the area one of which is located at the foot of the property. A perfect base to explore West Cork Surrounded by wild coast, ancient land and protected wetlands. Wild swim at the beautiful beach only a 150m from your doorstep. Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

Mountain Ash Cottage

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

The Little House, The Cove, Baltimore

One of the oldest houses in the village, this picture perfect cottage provides an ideal base to relax or explore all that the area has to offer. There is a choice of small beaches a stones throw away and spectacular views of the ever changing Atlantic ocean from Baltimore’s famous Beacon only a short walk away. The other direction brings you to the square where there is a choice of pubs and restaurants, whale watching trips and ferries to the islands of Sherkin and Cape Clear.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden
