The Annex, Berwick, East Sussex

Light and spacious self-contained Annex, separate from the main house with it's own private entrance. Being within two miles of the South Downs National Park and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are surrounded by idyllic countryside, lovely villages and pubs, and only 6 miles from the sea. The Space: Our Annex is comprised of a spacious double bedroom, with king-sized bed and luxurious bedding, a large lounge, a shower room, and a kitchenette, equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, tea & coffee making facilities, washing machine and dryer. Breakfast included. We have two friendly dogs, who have access to our garden and house, but not The Annex. Guest Access: Private entrance. Disabled accessible throughout, including shower. Ample parking. Access to the back garden and patio on request, due to our two friendly dogs. Interaction with Guests: We are a friendly couple, who love to make our visitors welcome, and will also respect your privacy, as you prefer. The Neighbourhood: We are in a rural village, with a small railway station, two pubs, a Post Office and garage. Perfect for walking, cycling and exploring the many local sights, Berwick village train station is only two minutes walk away, with easy access to Brighton, Eastbourne and Lewes. Ample on-site parking means you can leave your car in our drive whilst you explore by foot, bicycle, or train. Local sites include the historic village of Alfriston; Beachy Head, the Cuckmere Valley and the Seven Sisters; Charleston Farmhouse; Firle Place; and Glyndebourne, to name just a few!

Great pubs, walks, the Downs, Glyndebourne, Charleston, Firle, Farley Farm all approx. 10 mins. Designed as a creative workspace, there's no TV but good WiFi: no streetlights, lots of stars.

Located close to the Ashdown Forest with plenty of country walks. We are a 15 minute drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells and an hour from London and the East Sussex coast. We are on hand in the main house for your convenience.

'What Knot' is a converted carriage house. It is self contained and set in a pretty country garden tucked away in the medieval village of Alfriston in the Cuckmere Valley. It has a sitting room and kitchen on the ground floor, bedroom with king size bed and small shower room in the eaves on the first floor. It's perfect for couples wanting a peaceful break, visitors to Glyndebourne or walkers/cyclists to rest after a long day on the South Downs! 'What Knot' is 100m from the South Downs Way.

Bright, cosy and welcoming cabin, Fern Hollow

Fern Hollow is a perfect place to retreat and rest, cosily and comfortably at the bottom of my garden, behind my 1950's semidetached home. It is a unique little hideaway in Rusthall, on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. Sensitively and skillfully built out of a collection of architecturally salvaged materials. Warmed effectively by a woodburning stove the living area is a comfortable and bright place to work or relax. There is a little kitchen area and a sofa by the fire and dining table.

A gloriously secluded Shepherds Hut close to Lewes

Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

Bijoux Studio close to Eastbourne Hospital

This is a bijoux annexe complete with small double bed, kitchenette & separate bathroom. Easy access is via a side gate and key code access. There is parking on the driveway at the front of the property. The annexe is located a short walk from Eastbourne District General Hospital. The main town and seafront are just over one mile. Walking distance to nearby bakery, supermarket, fast food outlets, post office and a florist make this flat the perfect place for a short stay.

A newly refurbished self-contained annex in the heart of Langton Green. Available for short stays and longer lets (1 / 2 / 3 months). Village green and popular countryside pub a mere 400 metres away, this is an ideal location for a countryside getaway. And with Royal Tunbridge Wells’ shops and restaurants 2.5 miles away, you really will be able to experience the best the area has to offer. Parking available on site.

Beautiful interior designer 1890s 2-bed terrace house. Live like a local, just 17 mins walk to sea. Close to park, great views and pubs. You’ll love my place because of decor, ambiance and local feel. My peaceful home is great for couples, Brighton explorers and business travellers. It's not for party people. Parking permits on request for a small fee in zone V (and there is free parking at the weekend in Zone S).

A quirky, peaceful house with beautiful views. A lovely holiday retreat for walking, cycling, adventuring or relaxing - and only 9 miles from Brighton for all that fun. Please note that this is a quiet residential area with neighbours who like their peace and quiet too. No parties or loud music and you'll need to keep the noise right down after 9pm. Please don't book if this is not the holiday you are looking for.
