This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. It has a bathroom with sink and toilet, hot water outdoor shower, wifi, heat, AC & more! Enjoy the outdoor space with, hammocks, grill and fire pit by the pond. It's 1 mile from Lake Alice so grab the paddle boards and head to the lake! Plus, book a sound healing or sacred ceremony while you're here!

Treehouse in the pines - King bed

Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience situated in the pine trees located just outside of Spokane. Featuring a cozy 400 square foot living space, with books, games, and a gas fireplace as well as a kitchenette with everything you need to make a meal for two. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a 10-foot accordion door that opens completely to the deck outside with a hot tub waiting for you. Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.

The cabin is a mixture of rustic and refined and will be enjoyed by those who want the experience of being in nature while keeping some of the comforts of home. The cabin has full wifi. There is no TV at the cabin but all your streaming options are available via your devices. There is hot running water in the cabin with an RV style toilet and shower.

Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 5 days.
