As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.di

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

The studio is quiet and private, is attached to the main home...luxury decor with a comfy queen size bed, fully stocked kitchenette, a private separate entrance and car park. Hello and welcome to our boutique accommodation ideally situated in the heart of Matakana village, an easy 45 minute drive north of Auckland. Our architecturally designed property offers two private luxurious suites, each with their own ensuite. Please note $200 / $250 per night is the rate per suite which accommodates two guests, if you require to book the cottage the rate is $400/$500 per night accommodating four guests.
