Our cozy-yet-urban cottage is ideal for traveling professionals, small families, or someone who wants a night to just relax! You will be located 2 minutes from I-94 and within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs, bookstores, and a beautiful park (15 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride). The home is located off a well-traveled two lane road that connects Kalamazoo and Portage. Large unfenced lot with fire pit. We DO NOT rent to crews. Discounts for first responders and healthcare.

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. Small touches set us apart like laundry and light breakfast/snacks provided for stays that include Sundays (coffee is ALWAYS on at this house)

TINY studio for ONE. Non-smoking inside & out. Our typical guest is a busy academic, intern, medical worker or businessperson. This TINY studio is located in an old 4-unit apartment house, so there is some in-house sound transfer. Our neighborhood is usually quiet, but not always. See the LOCATION section under the map to read a description of our neighborhood. *Winter Note: We shovel the walkways at the Airbnb, but not usually until later in the day. So mornings might be snowy.
