The Happy Place @ the Butte

The Happy Place at the Butte is the closest air bnb to the entrance to the state park. Less than 1 mile to the entrance into Elephant Butte Lake. Plenty of room for parking a large boat, side by side and horse trailers. Enjoy the beautiful view of Turtleback Mountain from all areas of the home and incredible sunsets. The private view from the hot tub is spectacular. Hot tub available November thru March. Closed April thru October. You too will agree it is a Happy Place.

Sunny Casita

Spare and spacious and sunny. This casita is surrounded by a lovely and shade filled garden. There’s a wall so that you will enjoy outdoor privacy. It’s a short walk to downtown and the brewery, baths, and galleries. The Rio Grande is across the street and there are beautiful views of Turtleback Mountain from the porch. The house is about 80 years old, floors are wood and tile. Pets are welcome, however we ask that pet owners read "Other details to note" thoroughly!

A 30 amp RV hook up is available for an additional charge. No garage access.

Rejuvenate in the picturesque ambiance of our funky, cozy, little cottage on the river. From the back porch, you can enjoy the tranquil Rio Grande River and breathtaking views of the Turtle back mountain. Watch the abundant wildlife, wild birds, bats, fish, or seek peace. Elephant butte lake is 3 miles north. And 2 miles south is downtown TorC with 13 hot springs. NOTE: Like all rivers in New Mexico the rivers water flow runs low in the fall, winter & early spring.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to hot springs district, elephant butte lake and Rio grande river. Close to everything and yet still quite and peaceful. Plenty of parking for boat or rv. Free wifi, washer and dryer usage. Extended stays are welcome and will reduce the price depending upon how long the stay. House trained Pets are absolutely welcome. No smoking inside and 420 friendly. Very secure, safe and laidback.
