This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

In addition, you can enjoy the view of the city, Tromsø bridge and the Artic Cathedral from the terrace. Great sunny conditions in the summer and opportunities to see the northern lights in the winter. 5 minutes’ walk to the Cable car, Sherpa stairs and the Arctic Cathedral. Bus stop 250 meters, or you can walk 20 minutes across the Tromsø Bridge to the city center.

Alternativt kan du nyte en hyggelig spasertur på ca. 15 minutter langs vakre omgivelser og over brua til sentrum, hvor du kan beundre byen i all sin prakt.

Busstoppet er under 100 meter fra leiligheten. Gratis parkering på tomten. Utleier bor i samme hus, men det er ulike innganger. Velkommen!

Leiligheten ligger helt nede i strandkanten ved havet, 10 kilometer fra Lagnes flyplass, og 15 kilometer fra Tromsø sentrum. Her er det kort vei til både fjell og elv, så det er riktig og si at du er midt i nord-norsk natur. The apartment is located near by at the sea, 10 kilometers from Lagnes Airport and 15 kilometers from Tromsø city center. It is short distance to both mountains and river, so it's right to say that you are in the middle of northern Norwegian nature.

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us. The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops. A short walk to everything.
