Riverside Cottage

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Gate lodge Cottage at Emo Court

The Gate lodge at Emo Court is a beautiful old stone cottage at the old gates to Emo Court, it is surrounded by woodland walks. A minute walk to the centre of Emo village where there is a shop/post office/country pub/Italian restaurant and church. Free entry to Emo Court gardens and lake walk . You can take a tour ( small fee)of this historic property . CaToCa Fine food and giftware is also at Emo Court where you can enjoy there award winning tea rooms open daily 10am to 6pm and Giftshop.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

The Courtyard

A charming self contained apartment located in the town centre with it's own door access.Close to local amenities and transport links. The Courtyard can sleep two in one room with a double bed.However more rooms are available from time to time in the main house. On a case by case basis.Please message the property to enquire about extra rooms. Parking is on street but no parking charges apply. The kitchen has a hob, oven,microwave and cooking utensils and cook ware to use if required.

Suitable for walking & cycling with Glenbarrow waterfall within walking distance. Portlaoise & Tullamore 20 mins drive. Private entrance with ample parking. Outdoor picnic area and garden. Dogs are welcome.

My place is a rustic retreat in the countryside.It is part of a Georgian residence over 200 years d. It is located on a farm and ideal for a relaxing break.it is just a few minutes walk to the beautiful woodlands of Emo where one can enjoy many different walking routes. Emo Court , designed by James Gandon is a few minutes away.
