There are many National Trust properties within a small radius together with historic gardens and local vineyards. Tenterden and Rye are a short drive and Camber Sands, with its sandy beach, is a must. There are a number of local pubs which serve food, The White Hart within a few minutes walk, and many others not far away.

The Studio is set in ancient woodland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is a haven for a wide variety of wildlife, including badgers, deer, foxes and birds.....even wild boar! The Studio is the ideal bolt hole to come and explore Rye and the surrounding area with walks, cycles, great pubs, cafes and of course the beautiful beaches.

The studio which has recently been refurbished, is set in the garden adjacent to the main house. It has it’s own entrance exclusively for guests, which you enter via French doors off the patio. This space can also be enjoyed for a morning coffee or a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon or evening. We are set in the picturesque village of Appledore which has a local shop, beautiful church and a lovely country pub all within a two minute walk from the studio.

The Yard Rye

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.
