Cosy Stone Coach House near Glasgow

The Coachhouse is cosy and quiet. It has its own entrance and is completely separate from the main house. There is a private gated courtyard that guests are also welcome to use. Only 5 minutes from East Kilbride and 20 minutes from Glasgow but surrounded by fields and countryside Full use of the Coachhouse and the courtyard next to it Feel free to contact me with any queries by phone, text, e mail The property is only a couple of minutes from the village of Carmunnock, a pretty conservation village and the only official village left in Glasgow. There is a local shop, pharmacy, and an excellent restaurant in the town. There is parking next to the Coachhouse. Getting around by car is ideal but we are also only minutes from two train stations and there are regular buses in the village minutes up the road. We have two dogs but they are friendly and kept in the main house or our back garden.

Beach is minutes walk away, also minutes walk to Ayr town centre, shops, bars, restaurants and Ayr Racecourse. Perfect base for those without a car as walking distance to centre. 7 miles from Royal Troon golfcourse and 15 miles to Turnberry.

Accommodation 2/3 Self-contained flat attached to main house with own entrance, on the sea front in the centre of Dunoon, with stunning views across the Clyde and down to Cumbrae, Bute and Arran. 1/4 mile to passenger ferry and one and a half to Hunter's Quay car ferry,5/10 minutes walk to shops, cinema, eateries. Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

What's more, we're close to Ayr, Troon and Prestwick with excellent road, rail and airport connections near by and many of Ayrshire's much loved attractions and historic places to visit nearby. You will treasure your time at this memorable place.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Views from the living room look out onto the sea and it's a stones throw away from the beach. Separate entrance with garden. Free parking. Bedlinen and towels provided. Free wifi.

The Snug.

Situated in Middlemuir Heights Holiday park ten minutes from Ayr. It's a tranquil and mostly residential park in the lovely Ayrshire Countryside. There are woodland walks nearby and it is a short drive to the coast. This accommodation is more suited for couples or families wanting a quiet break. The cozy static caravan has a small deck to the side with seating. There is 5G Wifi and a tv in the sitting room. There is a bar and restaurant in the village a ten minute walk away.

The Montgomery Moonstone, Middlemuir Holiday Park

Situated in Middlemuir Heights Holiday park 10 minutes from Ayr which has its own website if you wish to see more information. A tranquil and mostly residential park surrounded by woods. 2 week max stay, I do have alternative accommodation for those seeking longer. This accommodation is more suited to couples and families wanting a quiet break away. The park has a strict rule of quiet time at 10 PM. Please note the site only has mobile WIFI so not good for remote working.

Gemilston Studio

Gemilston Studio is set on the edge of a conservation village in the grounds of former manse. Charming, secluded, close to the Community Shop and Cafe. Sunny terrace, access to large garden. Beautiful rolling country. Local activities - golf, walking, star gazing, wild swimming, riding, fishing, cycling; near beaches, Galloway Forest Park, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House & Burns Museum. Ten minutes from Dalduff and Blairquhan wedding venues.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

The Quiet Prestwick Beach House

This fabulous ground floor flat is right on the beachfront in the beautiful west of Scotland seaside town of Prestwick, about a mile from the airport . French doors open onto the private front garden which leads directly onto the seafront. Quiet, beautiful flat in a converted Victorian villa. All adjoining properties are child free , ensuring an exceptionally relaxing environment.
