The Hideaway - 200m Walk To Beach - Pet Friendly

Created by people who don’t like having the doors closed, the house has been designed to make inside and outside feel like one... the covered veranda is a seamless extension of the home, where rattan furniture, swinging chairs, floor rugs, a bar and a floating lounge beneath the palm trees will make it hard to leave. Add to that a woodfire pizza oven, fire pit, BBQ, dartboard and outdoor games, and there’s seemingly no need to venture beyond the garden gate.... except the beach - only 200m away!

The Hideaway Shack.

Located just 100m from Anglesea Main Beach, our home is perfectly located for your coastal getaway. This hidden gem is tucked away with ample outdoor space to relax in privacy, and also just a minutes walk to great coffee. The house is made up of 3 bedrooms (2 queens + 1 King beds). Filled with art, books, a big comfy couch and fireplace for and wood fired oven on the new large private deck. We are family friendly, but ask that you respect all of the pieces we have left there for your to enjoy.

Our Home is comfortable and pet friendly with all amenities required for an stress free enjoyable stay. We are located in the quiet ‘old’ part of Torquay across the road from Whites (beautiful dog friendly) beach with walking and biking tracks leading to town centre about 2km away. Cafes, restaurants, bars, playgrounds, shops and supermarkets are easily accessible by a walk or short drive.

A beautiful space for family and friends to enjoy time together Wether it is winter or summer our home has something to offer for all seasons to enjoy a blissful enjoyable stay. Note: The studio is attached to our house, you may hear general life kitchen/tv noise, but you have a private entrance and secluded easterly deck. Cooking facilities: BBQ, microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, kettle, toaster. Dog friendly. PLEASE - dog bath before arrival, bring a towel for muddy/sandy paws.

Designed by award winning architect Simone Koch, the cabin is about cooking, eating, drinking wine while being able to open right up to the beautiful Australian bush... The toilet is an outdoor organic system (based on the national park's toilets). Located at the start of the Great Ocean Road, only ten minutes from Torquay or famous Bells Beach. Complementary bottle of pinot from the winery on arrival. Please provide your own fire wood.
