Gollywobbler's galley comes complete with a hot plate, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom features a sitting area, lots of storage space and a full-size plus bed. An additional sleeping berth is an extra long roomier-than-normal twin. Lastly, the dining table lowers into a full bed. Five kayaks are shared with other boats. Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Kinglet Cottage - Bright and Sunny Lake View!

Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.
