Der er 8 min. gang til nærmeste bus, som du kan tage gratis ind til Torshavns centrum, eller gå den smukke tur langs vandet, som kun er 3 km. til centrum. Lejligheden er 70 m2 med køkken, stue, badeværelse og to små soveværelser, det ene værelse har to enkelte gode senge, som står sammen 180x200 og det andet har en god seng 140 x 200 . Værelse 1 er med gennemgang til værelse 2! Udenfor indgangen er der havemøbler.

Stunning one bedroom apartment at the bottom of a house in the historical village of Velbastaður with spectacular uninterrupted sea views. 10 min drive from the capital Tórshavn and a short drive to Kirkjubøur and Sandoy ferry. Regular sightings of porpoises and numerous seabird species and occasional whale sightings (seasonal). Opportunity to use jacuzzi and sauna for additional charge of 200kr upon request. Næsten 200 år gammelt fredet stenhus i den i historiske bygd Húsavík på Sandoy. Du bor tæt på naturen i et gammelt traditionelt færøsk stenhus med græs på taget, vægge af træ og træ- og stengulve. Huset er i en længe, hvor du går igennem ’røgstuen’ (hvor sovepladsen er) ind i stuen (glasstuen). I røgstuen er der højt til loftet, mens der i stuen er lavere, med udsigt over havet. Badeværelse af ældre dato, og et lille køkken med nye elementer og opvaskemaskine.

Denne bolig "Dávastova" ligger i et fredfult og unikt område, samnen med 3 andre lignende huse, og som alle er bygget i 2018. Når man får det mulighed at bygge i et sådan unikt område, er det meget vigtigt at dette sker i harmoni med naturen. Derfor er det et most at bruge den gamle færøske byggestil med sten, sorte brædder hvide sprosse vinduer og græstag. Vores ønske er at du som gæst, skal få en uforglemmelig ferie.
