We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. Enjoy your exclusive use patio with fire pit and furniture. Kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishware and utensils. Private attached bathroom. TV with cable service, HBO, and Showtime. All the beach essentials you will need are provided.

MIKE'S PLACE - A PRIVATE COTTAGE

The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi . Cable HDTV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

Kick back and relax in this peaceful, stylish space. Spacious Bedroom in private residence with private entrance, easy parking, located 1.5 blocks from beautiful Sunset Cliffs. Less than 15 min drive to all of the best San Diego has to offer. Walking distance to Ocean Beach (~1 mi), a funky beach town with its own casual style. Room is "hotel style" with private entrance, small patio, bed, bath, fridge and microwave; no access to main house.

La Jolla Oceanfront Serenity Suite

The Suite has it all except it’s smaller than our grand Master Suite . This place is spiritual. It’s just you overlooking the beach with six thousand miles to go before you see your closest neighbors across the ocean. You are just above the breaking surf. The private entrance has a gentle slope upwards, no steps, room for surfboards and bicycles, and a big spa on the blufftop. There is no beach access here.

La Jolla studio, mile from beach

This studio rental is a mile uphill from the beach. The unit has three rooms — the main section with queen size bed, dining table and seating; the bathroom (shower); and kitchenette (refrigerator, two burner electric stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, air fryer, microwave, and electric juicer). Enjoy a glass of wine or fresh orange juice in the garden. Large yard and several patios (shared space).
