This is a great place to soak in one of the natural hot springs that the area has to offer, with great views of the mountain and a relaxing atmosphere. Only a couple minute drive from the airbnb. Reservations are required for entry and it does book out somewhat in advance so we would recommend making reservations a month before arrival.

Penny Hotsprings are both a local and tourist favorite. Located only 5 miles from the Airbnb these natural hotsprings are a must see. Relax in the hot pools free of charge and soak in the amazing mountain views.

Marble is a great local town that has a lot of the best sightseeing views in the area. The Crystal River Mill is a popular destination amongst both locals and visitors to the area. It is only accessible during the summer months and can be either accessed by hiking in or driving with a 4WD vehicle or hiring a jeep tour in town. Beaver lake is a local favorite in the summer months for fishing or paddle boarding (which are available to rent in town).

The Rodeo's run from June-August and are a great family friendly event to attend. They run every Thursday during the summer. They are located just outside of Carbondale and are about a 10 minute drive from the Airbnb. There are local food trucks and even events for kids to enter for fun.
