Highlands is 1 of 4 ski mountains in the Aspen area and offers amazing views as well as the local favorite Highlands Bowl. This mountain is more aimed at intermediate to expert level skiers.

Great mountain for middle/advanced skiers. But if you are a experienced skier, go to the Highlands Bowl while you are there. So nice!

Aspen Highlands is a smaller, steep mountain that is not for beginners. If you are an expert and like to earn your turns, you can hike the highlands bowl to access some very cool terrain near the tree line. There is VERY limited parking at highlands, so you will need to park at one of the down-valley lots and take the ski shuttle (I recommend Brush Creek/Hwy 82 since there is always plenty of parking.) Aspen Highlands is also famous for Cloud Nine, the highest grossing restaurant per square foot. If you like to have $125 bottles of veuve clicquot sprayed on you, this is your spot (and thank you for choosing the Hot Springs Haven over the Jerome or the St Regis!)
