Fun things to do on Plum Island and Newburyport
Food scene
Great spot for a fabulous sunset outside along with fabulous food. Fun time guaranteed! Right down the end of Old Point Road...10 minute walk. Longer on the way back...lol. Call ahead...live music on the weekends.
Such a fun place to have some good food and libations. Awesome spot to see the sunset although our place is pretty spectacular too. Outside seating with Adirondack chairs by the fire pet and picnic tables too. Inside seating is limited. They even have corn hole if you want to have some more fun. Call ahead to make sure they're opened. Sometimes they have weddings and other private events.

The new Riptide Cafe and bar just recently opened after purchasing the Beachcoma where all the locals gathered. Looks like an amazing menu...haven't been yet but Brad is an awesome chef. Definitely check out their website for schedule of fun events and live music on the weekends.

Upscale American cooking, fabulous food and a local favorite! Very busy on the weekends so make sure to get reservations. Love everything on the menu. Enjoy! Seafood risotto is my favorite.

Great pizza and they deliver! Nicks pizza has been serving since 1948. Ester and Donato DePalma opened a small trattoria in Newburyport serving up rectangular pan pizza inspired by their homeland in Abruzzo, Italy.

Fun sports bar type atmosphere and a local favorite. They've been in business since 1957...new owners took over a few years back but the food is exactly the same!

It's just a 15 minute drive to town and plenty of parking. Great place and fun atmosphere for some fabulous Italian food. The restaurant is small so I highly suggest making reservations.

This beach is amazing but parking is limited which means less people. It's about a 10 mile drive from the Sunset Studio but well worth the ride.

Best beach on Plum Island! It's definitely worth the drive to the end to reach Sandy Point. Parking is limited so get there early.

If your lucky to be here when tours are offered try and schedule a viewing. The history of the light house goes back to 1788. Check out their website for the address and dates of tours. Just google Plum Island Lighthouse.
