Sam Houston State University is a public university in Huntsville, Texas. It was founded in 1879 and is the third-oldest public college or university in Texas. It is one of the first normal schools west of the Mississippi River and the first in Texas.

The pictures they have there and the stories they can tell you are very interesting if you like history and museums. They could really use a lot of support from the community and our town. They say you can find the clearest water in Texas at the Blue Lagoon, just a little little over a mile north of Rosenwald Acres.
The water there is highly visible, making it perfect for swimming and scuba diving and you can tan, swim antic scuba lessons if you choose to do so. It’s even open Sundays until 6 PM.

This Saturday morning farmers market is a must visit.
There are two farmers market every Saturday morning from about 7 AM until 12 noon. One is in the mall on Highway 30 and the other is just a block south of Highway 30 behind the paint store Near Citycentre
