The cathedral is full of history it has beautiful stained glass windows and a ceiling which will take your breath away.

The Garrison faces Newton Beach, it==inside you will find the Library, 2 museums, craft shop and an excellent cafe, just taken over by new owners. Outside on the grounds of the Garrison you will find, places to sit and relax or have a kick about on a full size 5 a side Astro turf. In the summer there is a small children fair with bouncy castles and roundabout. All summer events rotate around the Garrison and its grounds.

Fantastic restaurant and bar, very friendly and reasonably priced. Child friendly with a good selection on menu, well stocked bar for all tastes. Open fire for cold days and romantic nights.

Lovely cafe with ultra friendly staff and views out to sea. Great coffee and cake selection, plenty of choice on their light snack menu.
