A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Seattle. Very soulful- I’ll be back!

  • What a cool space! Lovely hosts, beautiful art, and a surprisingly comfortable futon. I would recommend this studio to anyone!

    Emily2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Liz and Brad's. The cottage was very comfortable, the flowers smelled divine, and Liz's artwork made it an incredibly unique space bursting with creativity. We didn't get a chance to meet Liz during our brief stay, but Brad was very welcoming and recommended an incredible nearby bakery--a tip I am so grateful for!

    Kaela2015-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • I am a little relunctant to leave a positive review out of fear this lovely retreat will be discovered. This is a private cottage set in a wonderful neighborhood of well cared for homes. The surroundings offer interesting architecture, pride in gardens, lots of birds, a community shoping area with character and a Farmer Market which is treat to the eye as much as the palate. It is a peaceful and quiet area of Seattle and Ballard is a great for walking. Liz and Rick are perfect - helpful but not intrusive. They own two wonderful young cats. We will be back.

    Carla2010-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is clean and charming and Brad and Liz were perfect hosts. I made these arrangements for my mother and I know this contributed to the wonderful time she had. This backyard cottage is shrouded by a trellis covered in grape vines and surrounded by a fine garden. I highly recommend this accommodation.

    Michael2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Brad and Liz's cottage was perfect. The artwork all around our room was simply moving. Brad gave us some good pointers on the hip spots downtown and was great conversation. These guys were great hosts and would definitely recommend staying here!

    Savannah2015-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Studio and Garden were fantastic. It was so nice to sit outside and relax in the evening. The studio had everything I needed for my stay, including parking and it was easy to get around the neighborhood to explore, eat and walk. I only met Liz and Brad briefly but they were so friendly and welcoming! Beautiful place to stay.

    Crystal2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The little studio is a lovely place to stay, and the hosts are very welcoming. I really enjoying waking up to Liz's sculptures every day and Brad was always forthcoming with suggestions about the neighbourhood, which we loved. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Erik and Pamela's place was clean, cute, and well-appointed. It was the perfect amount of space for my spouse and me to stay in for a few days during our visit to Seattle. It was rather hot in Seattle during our stay, and while the cottage was warm without AC, it did cool down significantly at night and in the morning. No complaints! It was great.

    Greta2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Erik and Pam paid impeccable attention to details. The furnishings are of very good quality, so are the bath supplies. They even included anti-static sheets for use in dryer! Simply awesome. Great cottage in a great location. There is a private garden just outside the cottage. Good cafes and restaurants around. Convenient walk to Fred Hutch and easy access to buses. Love this place totally!

    Hwee-Lin2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place is the perfect pied-a-terre. It’s small but artfully packed with everything you can think of. I’m always apprehensive traveling off-island...60F is cold in my world. But this place has heated bathroom flooring and if you need it, a heated bed. Heated towel rack! When I say “artfully packed,” that includes washer & dryer beneath a counter behind the bathroom door. The kitchen is really well-equipped. It’s a fun place to return to at the end of the day...some really compelling book titles...distinct living area...plenty of outlets for all the devices...I was a happy camper!

  • Wonderful place to stay! Couldn't recommend it more!!!

    Brian2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Erik + Pamela's place! Great location in Capitol Hill with easy access to some great shops and restaurants. Adorable unit with all of the amenities we were looking for. Will definitely look to stay again on our next trip to Seattle!

    Drew2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is super comfy and easily accessible. We really appreciated the extra off-street parking space and the close proximity to fun Capitol Hill bars/restaurants was lovely. Thank you for hosting us!

With a 50 gallon water heater there will be enough hot water for all your needs. The high end bathroom is completed with a Kohler sink, toilet and hardware. There is also a closet to hang and store clothes and bags. The cottage is heated via high efficiency electric infra red heaters mounted on the ceiling. There is also a whole house ventilation system to keep the air fresh throughout the year (the switch to turn hi/low or on/off is inside the closet). Cable TV, wifi and a DVD player are also available. Amazon and Netflix are included on the smart TV for your use with your own passwords. Free parking is available on the street in front of the Cottage/Main house.
The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard has many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema, bakeries, and quirky stores. The Sunday market is a must. Golden Gardens Beach, the Ballard Locks, and the Nordic Heritage Museum are all close by.
  • This was our first Airbnb experience, and I think it has set the bar very high for the next time we Airbnb. The Ballard Cottage is cute, clean, and in such a great location. We ended up loving the Ballard/Fremont area more than the actual city of Seattle. Bev and Grant supply the cottage with everything you need!

    Pennie2018-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was easy to access, clean and well-supplied, and the host responsive.

    Patricia2019-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • with so many options out there it’s refreshing to stumble upon because and grant’s lil’ backyard abode. the bed reminded us of how we used to imagine clouds as children, the entrance rivaled most fantasy novels and the thoughtful touches would make my mom blush. my only suggestion is to install a hot tub on the premises but please keep in mind this is my suggestion even for restaurants i visit....as well as shops...we love hot tubs a bit.

    Tyler2018-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • A great little place in Seattle! Comfortable, stylish, & sparkling clean. I’d love to stay there again!

    Daisy2019-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is very nice. Bev and Grant were great hosts and made sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

    Jessica2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had a very pleasant stay at this lovely cottage and will definitely come back next time when visiting Seattle.

    Mei Jane2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was really quite lovely and had a nice patio and garden. We highly recommend it and would love to come back again. Bev and Grant were attentive hosts.

The West Seattle neighborhood is a favorite of Seattlites--known for its friendly people, stellar views, excellent restaurants and bars, and most famously, Alki Beach.
  • This was a great find. It was as described and shown in the listing. The hosts were great with communication and accommodation. I’d definitely go back.

    Jessica2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little space! Flawlessly designed, it has everything you need and never feels cramped. Beautiful rose bushes outside. Bus ride to town wasn’t bad. Local food + fun tips posted on the wall. Keypad was easy to use and directions were easy to follow (it’s not right on a main road). Affordable and unique. Check out Tipsy next time you’re in Seattle! Only note— the shower water does tend to jump between hot and cold a bit, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience

    Abigail2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This has to be one of my favorite little “staycations” I’ve been on! My boyfriend and I have been on the lookout for a unique tiny house to stay in to get away and gather some ideas for our own tiny home. This place was SO RAD. 4 minute uber down to alki beach and such a cute space to chill out in. Wish we could have stayed another night!

    Nicole2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome tiny house! Willing to go back again sometime in the future.

    Rinesya2016-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at Tipsy! It was such fun space. We highly recommend staying here.

    Kelly2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Totally cool place to experience. Location is a bit further out from downtown but totally worth it.

    Youssef2019-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • The house was persistently clean and very comfortable even though it's Tiny. One thing that I loved was that it had it's own separated yard, so it feels like it's a proper private house. The location is quite and beautiful, higly recommend to stop at Tipsy!

    Petr2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Chad and Lindsay, for hosting us! The tiny house was a dream to stay at. Perfectly cozy, clean, and observantly built with care. Although tiny is in the name, the high ceiling and clever design made the space feel plenty. Aside from the spot itself, host communication was outstanding, and the location in West Seattle is a deal. Walking distance to Alaska and California intersection with all sorts of restaurants and shops, and surrounded by a great neighborhood for a stroll.

Conveniently located near the Island's village & Seattle ferry, this 200sq ft architecturally-designed, eco-friendly backyard guesthouse is the perfect getaway. Ride into town on the bikes, enjoy the hot tub, garden patio and fire-pit. ***Ask us about adding a sailing excursion to your stay!
This is a 200 sq ft guesthouse located next to our main house in the backyard. It has its own bathroom and shower, and kitchenette - a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea selection. A mini-fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle complete the kitchenette. The studio is flooded with natural light and a full suite of blinds on lower windows provides complete privacy should you desire that. Like the unit, the hot water heater is small so short showers (6 mins) are recommended (unless you like them cold). If you like long showers this is probably not the place for you. If the water begins to lose heat, it only takes about 30min to recharge. We also have a pack-n-play available upon request for a baby. Just keep in mind that the space gets pretty tight when it is in there. The guesthouse does not have a TV but you'll find a delightful patio garden with a fire-pit, gas grill and hot tub to enjoy instead. The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near to our little town of Winslow and all its amenities, and close to the Bainbridge/Seattle ferry. While not in the country it has a delightful mix of deep green, moss, and natural sunlight. We think it's perfect. We might have a slight bias, but still. **Please scroll down this page (below the reviews) to read more details on our location and how to get around.
Our Island guesthouse is just under a mile (.9), about a 15 minute walk from the Seattle ferry, a 25 minute (1 mile) walk to the quaint village of Bainbridge Island (Winslow) and only a 5 minute walk, through the back of our neighborhood, to our up-town shopping area: Ace Hardware, McDonalds, Walgreens, Safeway, Family Restaurants & of course a Starbucks. In a car or on a bike, it's all moments away. Our residential neighborhood is full of kind, working families and it's quiet. The place has a unique blend of being close in, while feeling a bit further out.
  • This place is fabulous. We enjoyed the quiet yard and hot tub.

    Matt2017-03-04T00:00:00Z

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard. The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A 15 - 20 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • Awesome place, cozy, and convenient... will definitely be back!

    Donnie2016-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ben's tiny home was the cutest place I've ever stayed! The pictures are great but it was even better in person. Ben was kind enough to give us a couple of eclipse glasses and we watched the eclipse, through the skylight while lying in bed! I cannot say enough about how great this experience was and how much I recommend this AirBNB!

    Ashley2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Little House is in a great walkable location. We were able to get to Ballard in <10 mins and there are lots of major bus lines within 10 minutes of the Little House, as well. The Little House itself is well put together and has everything you might need. We really enjoyed the euro-style bathroom and shower. The loft space is a little tight and difficult to walk in so we mostly crawled up there or rolled over the bed to get to the other side. Ben is a great host and available for any questions or concerns. He also had good recommendations for places to eat. Overall great space. We recommend this spot for anyone interested in a tiny house type of AirBnB!

    MacKenzie2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great little home within a short walking distance to all of downtown Ballard. Had a blast hitting the town each night!

    Patrick2018-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had quite a good time staying in this little gem. It was a perfect place to walk to a lot of good restaurants and night life. Ballard is such a fun community and not far from the heart of Seattle.

    Heather2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Benjamin's place. It was the perfect setup for us with all the basics covered. There was plenty of natural light with all the windows and doors, but should we need privacy, there we're blinds on every window and door. The skylight above the bed was such a neat addition to watch the stars (or rain/snow!) at night. The only thing I would note as something to keep in mind is that the toilet is in the shower area, so if someone else is taking a shower, you need to wait until they're done to use the toilet (and then walk across a wet floor). Also, the water heater lasted about 5 minutes for us, so one of us would take a shower and then wait for the water to heat up again and then take a shower. I would say that that was the only "surprise" but overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and it was great for us! Would definitely stay again!

    Mackenzie2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Look NO further, this is the very BEST place to stay. Clean, sunny, well equipped and walking distance to any and everything you could ask for in Ballard! (Note: Not recommended for anyone with extreme disability, due to ladder access to sleeping balcony area) Use their recommended driver, Aki, for a pickup or transfer to the airport or cruise terminal, he's also the BEST. Enjoy!!!

  • Manuela welcomed us with some local chocolate and beer, as well as some beautiful flowers from the garden. The apartment matched the description in the ad and was close to a strip of restaurants and coffee shops. The place was perfect for our stay and had everything you would need for a comfortable visit to Seattle. It had ample cooking utensils and appliances, a pleasant outdoor patio, a very nice kitchen and bathroom, and a super comfy bed - the only thing missing was a full-length mirror. We will definitely try to stay there on our next visit to the area.

    Samantha2015-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela's studio was so cozy and adorable! My boyfriend and I stayed here two nights, and couldn't have been happier with our stay.

  • I had a wonderful time at Manuela’s place. It was perfectly located close to the Burke Gilman trail, which I biked along every day. The apartment was super cozy and clean. Manuela was very responsive, and even had the place ready early after I had a long flight in. Highly recommend this place!

My place is close to Roanoke Park, UW, Amazon, Microsoft, and Children's Hospital. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Lower level of large house overlooking portage bay. You will have total privacy, your own back door, 1 bedroom, a living area with breakfast bar and wet bar / kitchen and full bathroom with a newly tiled shower. Roku is provided on 50 inch tv with Netflix already to go. Milk, tea, coffee and cereal are also provided. Main bed is Queen sized. Second bed is a single sized rollaway. Both have full bleeding, blankets etc. Towels are also provided.
Portage bay is ideally located for access to UW (20 min walk), Downtown, Amazon, and access to Microsoft (short drive or bus on 520). Also, we are in walking distance to the UW Light Rail station, for travel to the airport.
  • Perfect place to stay for a night or two, central location, free parking, easy check in! Would definitely stay again.

  • Pete was great at communicating! Bed was comfortable, place was private and good amount of space!

    Jennifer2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect private stay for one or two. Secluded location but still close enough to get out and experience Seattle. The nearest light rail station is about a 20min walk so lugging lots of luggage can be a problem--uber lyft or taxi is the solution. Easy and quick communication and Pete was thoughtful enough to have a small breakfast (cereal and milk) in the apartment.

  • Pete and Anna were great host/hostess! I read the lockbox code wrong and they came and unlocked it and were very kind about my mistake. Very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for food! Great location safe and quiet! If ever in the area again will definitely stay there again if available. Slept comfy and safe!

We at Emerald Stays welcome you to our modern and stylish vacation rental condo, in a brand new building located in the hip Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location, located in Belltown, the residential neighborhood of Downtown. You will be steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, Puget Sound Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium & everything Downtown. The Space Needle & the rest of the Seattle Center are also within walking distance. You will also find some of Seattle's best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars & lounges, just outside the building. With a Walkscore of 98 and transit score of 100, the building is a "Walker's Paradise". So you can skip renting a car. The Convention Center is just 15 mins walk away. You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • Awesome, clean apartment in a great downtown location. I would definitely stay here again.

  • We never met Sid but talked with and corresponded several times. He was pleasant and his instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and well located. Pikes Market was a short walk away, the Amtrak station was just over a mile away, and there were a number of interesting watering holes in the neighborhood.

  • Great location and nice place. Thanks Sid!

At the fringe of vibrant Capitol Hill in Seattle, this small, cozy loft apartment offers views, colorful interior, privacy, quiet, a free parking pass, and complete walkability.
Sip coffee on a private balcony with views of First Hill. Climb up to a cozy bed loft at night, peer out the porthole, and try to spot the Space Needle. Walk three blocks north to experience dining, art, dance, and music along Broadway or the Pike/Pine corridor on Capitol Hill. Downtown Seattle is a 30 minute walk away, or easily accessed via bus. Use the free guest parking pass for unlimited street parking. Relax in the petite, lovingly curated living space with books, plants, piano, and abundant natural light.
The apartment is located at the southern edge of Capitol Hill, 3 blocks south of vibrant Pike/Pine and 3 blocks east of the Seattle University business and nightlife strip on 12th Ave. Enjoy complete walkability to general and specialty grocery stores, cafes, music, literary and art events, theater, dining, nightlife, parks, and shopping.
  • This is a wonderful apartment and Rachel's eclectic décor helps to make this a unique travel experience. The location is close to shopping and sightseeing in Seattle. Public transportation is close by too. There is no place in Seattle like Capitol hill where you will find many wonderful restaurants. The view of downtown is wonderful. I would definitely recommend Rachel's hospitality to my fellow travelers. Loved it!

    Fredrik2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, walking distance to downtown locations and many tourist sites, plus easy street parking and access to main roads. Also walking distance to Trader Joe’s and some funky coffee shops and restaurants. The space itself is perfect for one or two people. You need to be able to climb a ladder to the loft bed, but it is super comfortable with a view of the city skyline through a porthole window. Super cool. No TV or AC, but who needs those when you are out and about with so much to do (and eat and drink!) I did enjoy relaxing on the balcony with a drink or reading a good book on the very comfortable couch when I was “home.”. Laundry facilities in the basement helped me get ready for the next leg of my trip. Highly recommend!!

    Jeanne2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location - walkable to downtown/convention center - but a quiet neighborhood. Really cute studio with homey touches. And the bed is as comfortable as everyone says!

    Rebecca2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel’s place is the perfect spot!! It is located in a beautiful neighborhood, has lots of natural light and beautiful charm. She has a wonderful book collection and has furnished the place with creative personal touches- we loved the porthole window and played the piano every day We felt so cozy and at home in the loft and never wanted to leave! It is within walking distance to lots of local eats and sight seeing. The parking pass was so helpful and we always found easy parking. Everything in the loft was eco friendly, with recycling, compost and trash. We also enjoyed the little deck space and created a dinner from all our Pike Place finds. Could not recommend more highly! Thank you Rachel for offering your beautiful space. We cannot wait to come back again.

    Susan2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful in Seattle, and Rachel's place was a nice 'home' away from home. Perfect for one person. Rachel was great with communications and answering questions. I would definitely stay here again.

    Martha2015-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel’s apartment is beautiful, reasonably priced and in an excellent location to explore Seattle. Communication was great and check-in and check-out were both very easy. A wonderful Airbnb experience which we would fully recommend!

    Samuel2019-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a great location. Rachel was very accommodating!

    Matthew2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, easy to find with a lot of stuff to do that isn't too far away. The space itself is very cozy, with a myriad of thoughtful touches that make you feel like you're staying with family. It's really a great little spot, easily one of my top Airbnbs. The loft itself was easy enough to cozy up into for me, but for older or less coordinated folks it might be a hassle. Thanks again Rachel!

New cottage, cabin-like, in the heart of Seattle. Close to bus line, cruise ships, shops, restaurants, waterfront, parks, bike paths, stadiums, Space Needle. Our cottage offers a kitchen, w/d and queen bed among other amenities. Built green.
Spacious studio with 12 foot ceiling, barn door hardware, functional kitchen with granite countertops and recycled old growth pine used on interior walls of room.
Magnolia is an ideal location - close to downtown Seattle (1.4 miles), the Space Needle (2 miles), the Waterfront (1.6 miles) and 1/2 mile to the Cruise Ships. Magnolia Village offers a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants. We are also located by the bike path along the Waterfront and Pike Place Market.
  • This adorable cottage had everything we needed for our weekend Seattle getaway! Everything was clean, and there was a comfortable bed, kitchen with a fridge, and shower and bathroom. It was the perfect central location. We would definitely book the cottage again!

  • Clean, nice, great value, sweet!

    Martha2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy's place was amazing! This was my first visit to Seattle and I was so impressed by Kathy's place (and Seattle in general). Although it was not as close to downtown as I would have liked, it was a quick bus or lyft ride away, which was perfect (also, I booked it knowing it was not exactly downtown...so that one is on me). If you're looking for a cozy place to stay, Kathy's is perfect. It was close to basically everything and was in such a beautiful neighborhood.

    Melissa2019-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nicely setup room, convenient to cruise port. Nice bathroom and kitchen setup. Easy check-in and check-out. Helpful hosts.

  • Dan met us when we arrived and welcomed us to their beautiful cottage. He has reclaimed most of what he used to build this comfortable, cozy space, which makes it even more special. The location is perfect for exploring the city. He gave us recommendations for dinner and places to visit that made our vacation to Seattle more epic, Dan seemed like an old friend that we were visiting. What an amazing place to stay while in Seattle. Thank you so much Dan and Kathy for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

    Cheryl2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • My mom and I stayed at Dan and Kathy's place for a night before leaving on a cruise. The cabin was really cute and cozy, complete with a functioning kitchen. Great location too! Very close to downtown and much closer to the pier. Dan even drove us to the market and recommended a place to get breakfast! We will definitely stay at their place again when we go back to Seattle!

    Kathleen2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • We appreciated use of washing machine and dryer, did not appreciate that the "B&B" in this instance did not mean Bed and Breakfast. Although the location was well served by public transport it is not, in our opinion within walking distance of the "heart of the city"

    Neville2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dan responded to messages promptly, and provided clear directions on parking, transportation, and how to pick up the key. The cottage was perfect for me and my daughter's stay in Seattle. It is so cozy, and has everything you need, and then some! The view of the city from the top of the street is breathtaking! We really enjoyed everything about the cottage, and our stay in Seattle!

Small Private room for 1 person on the 2nd floor of our apartment. We are an apartment within a house on Capitol Hill. A couple living used to living with roommates excited to welcome the world to our home! We are a good fit for budget travelers who are looking forward to interacting with locals and folks new to the area who enjoy shared living environments.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The room is one of five bedrooms in our house. We have a cozy kitchen, bathroom and living room with lots of light! You can do laundry downstairs ($1 wash / $1 dry), and hang out in our lovely living room. Our house is the tall, dark and handsome type, height / weight proportionate, with a red brick exterior (if you're into that sort of thing). Good to know we are an older home, not a hotel so the aesthetics come with the territory. We're two blocks from Broadway, with a stupid amount of cool shit and buses within walking distance. You can get to the Pike/Pine nightlife in a short 10-minute walk. Broadway has transformed from its grungy gutter-punk needles-and-heroin 90s roots. Maklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The room has a lofted full sized bed that can accommodate one person. Best to check out the pictures to make sure it is a good fit for you! The ceiling is only a couple feet above the bed so it is a bit tight and will not suit everyone. We recommend the bed for those under 6 ft in height! We lofted the room to make use of the space in the small room as much as possible! There is a desk, chair and free standing closet in the room. The room faces west and is next to our kitchen. The room is just long wide enough to fit a full sized bed and frame, and long enough to fit the width of a full sized bed and the free standing closet in the photos. It is a small room! The wireless signal isn't the best in the room, so we encourage guests to use our living room for their lounging internet surfing needs! Please note if you fall asleep to netflix this room may not be a good fit! As we have multiple listings in this house as well as roommates and one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping after a vigorous cleaning. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with the two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah, 31: Leah has lived in the house for 4 years. Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Living with Leah is like summer camp. Her favorite moments in life are (1) when the power goes out (camping time!), (2) summer barbecues, and (3) when everyone wants to have a dance party. She's really good at people. Leah has several part time jobs that range from working as an ABA therapy assistant (therapy for youth with Autism), staff in a young adult shelter, Residential Advisor for High School International students in a dorm setting and driving with Lyft. Leah likes to keep busy and is often out of the house. You are most likely to see her around if you are at the house during late morning/early afternoon or get a ride from her! Andrew, 31: Andrew is new to the apartment as of Jan 2017. Andrew hails from Florida and has previously worked with homeless youth and young adults in Seattle area. Andrew works with International students in a dorm setting in the neighborhood. He also drives with Lyft and is aiming to head back to school to study nursing in spring 2017. He has a place in his heart for a well crafted computer game (including story line, coding and graphics) and has a series of mods for his favorite games he has created. Andrew also likes to lift weights to stay fit and gets really pumped when he gets new personal best when doing squats. Enjoy your stay in our home!

    Aurea2015-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • It's a modest house in a nice neighbourhood. About a 20 minute walk to the Convention Center downtown where I needed to go, safe and pleasant all the way there. Good spot. Nothing fancy but they've thought of pretty much everything and added some thoughtful touches. The vibe is more personal than a hostel, less personal than a room in someone's home. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about being so close to the ceiling in the loft bed, but it was like being a bear climbing up into a warm den... nice and cozy! Wifi was good, no problems with the shared bathroom.

    Kirsten2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • 地理位置极佳。距离轻轨站步行不到10分钟。周边各种商店餐馆众多。去往西雅图市内各大景点都十分便捷。

  • Super convenient neighborhood with accessibility to buses and light rail. So many eating and driving options in close walking distance. Spacious room with all amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

    Kathleen2016-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and the hosts were helpful and accommodating.

    Calvin2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a kind of affordable place to stay within walking distance to downtown Seattle this is a decent option. They really have the automated check in process down so it is super easy to check in and out. The bed is pretty terrible though, it felt like sleeping on Styrofoam with a couple sheets on it. It's a lot closer to the ceiling than it looks in the photo too so I would definitely not recommend it if you're over 6ft tall, plus you wouldn't be able to even lay on the bed comfortably (I'm 6'4" it was a tight fit diagonally). Overall it suited my needs but I would stay a elsewhere or at least in a different room (they seem to have at least two other rooms) when visit again.

    Skyler2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Leah and Andrew's place was quiet, relaxing and full of extra touches to make guests feel welcome.

  • Check in was so easy! He had a key holder that you just need a code for, so it was perfect for us as it allowed for more flexibility. The room was on the second floor and it was so private. We had our own room/restroom and basically the whole 2nd floor to ourselves. The bed was so comfy and everything was very clean. He even provided snacks for us. The drive to downtown wasn't as close as expected but overall this place was a great value. Thanks Michael!

This is studio #17 - a private guest room designed as a simple & affordable space for arts-related guests near the heart of Seattle's downtown gallery district. But you don't have to be an artist to stay here - all are welcome!
**Please click on "read more" and read everything below before booking** Our place is a bit unusual and we want to be sure it's a great match for your style of traveling. Please read all details below, plus the house rules so you don't miss anything that might really matter to you once you get here. You'll have this private room all to yourself. It's located among a group of art studios on the second floor of a commercial building. We're in the Japantown area of Seattle's historic International District, a few blocks east of Pioneer Square and the sports stadiums. The bed has a luxurious Novaform queen mattress & very comfortable fresh bedding. We also provide towels, extra pillows & blankets, bath robes, and other amenities. Free wifi and satellite tv w/HBO are included. We recently finished a major remodel of the room, which is why there’s a gap in our reviews. So yes if you've stayed here before this is the same place, but even better! There's only one guest room now, and the guest bathroom is now private, just for you. ~~~~~~~~~ important notes: • There's a private bathroom with keypad entry just outside the room dedicated only for our guests. You'll need to step out into the hallway to reach the bathroom, but it's just a few feet away. • This is not a room in an apartment building - the other rooms on the floor are artist work spaces. The room is quiet and the artists don't live here. • The room has a skylight, and no other windows. It has a mini-split hvac unit for air conditioning & heat. There's also a ventilation exhaust fan on the ceiling which will clear out stale air and draw in fresh air from the hallway as needed. • There is a long flight of stairs to get up to our floor (no elevator). • Our listing is a little unusual and we want to be sure it's going to meet your needs before you choose to book it. Please send us a note with the secret code word TEDDY (that's our dog) - this will let us know you hung in there and read the whole thing. • Also before booking make sure your user i.d. profile is complete, including a good clear photo of you. It helps with security in our building to be able to identify guests. Thank you!
This is a fun & interesting international neighborhood with lots of quirky shops and tons of food choices - including a great sushi restaurant right in our building. There's quick take-out to high end, and everything in between. Uwajimaya Asian specialty supermarket is close by, plus coffee shops & bakeries - you won't go hungry in this neighborhood! • Check our online Guidebook to see all the great restaurants & attractions we've bookmarked in our neighborhood. We also have a guidebook in the room when you arrive with some of our favorite spots nearby for food, plus maps and other details. • We're just a few blocks from the baseball & soccer/football stadiums. There are many bars and clubs within walking distance, and even more just a quick bus ride away. Since the building is right downtown you can also easily visit the Seattle Art Museum, Sculpture Park, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and many other great Seattle attractions. • Please note that we're right next to the Pioneer Square neighborhood, which tends to have some homeless people on the streets. Along with the conveniences of being right downtown - great public transportation & cool places to visit - this is city life and we don't recommend walking around by yourself late at night.

    Mapita2015-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is located in a 2 story warehouse space with multiple private rooms sharing a common kitchen and bathroom. The facilities are quite clean, however it does feel like a bit like a hostel or dormitory as everything in the common space is heavily labeled with instructions on house rules. There is no elevator from the building entrance to the loft, so you do have to prepare to carry all luggage up 2 large flights. In the loft itself, there is a very small seating area with a sofa and small desk. You then take somewhat steep ladder stairs to a floating loft area where there is a full bed located on the floor and a sunlight above, which can be very bright during summer solstice. The location is central, and within a short walking distance to both King Street Station (train) and International Station (light rail). Dirk and Jaq were highly communicative before we arrived, and provided detailed information in regards to the listing.

    Monica2015-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful hosts, They go above and beyond at making your feel at home. Great location! Short walking distance to football/soccer and baseball stadiums. Easy access to downtown.

    Patton2016-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • We unfortunately didn't get to see Dirk and Jaq because it was only a day, but they kept in touch with us the whole time, and were very kind. The loft was wonderful, with many shops and restaurants around; it was a wonderful experience overall.

  • Our schedules didn't coincide enough to be able to meet Dirk & Jaq, but we had plentiful email communication before and after our stay and they were accommodating and communicative throughout. The place worked fine for our needs, a bit funky in all the best ways, with a loft, artsy backdrop, shared bathroom (though there are two, both spacious) and heart-of-downtown location. Had a kind of hip European vibe, which we enjoyed quite a bit. Great location next to the ballpark and a gob of restaurants & bars; 20 minutes or so walk to Pike's Market. It being downtown, parking is a bit tricky, but manageable if you pay attention and have decent city wiles. Wouldn't recommend the elderly or infirm (or severely-under-the-influence) climbing the ladder to the loft, but for all other comers, it's a great spot at a very fair price. We would return!

    Andrew2015-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • All though I did not meet Dirk in person, Jaq was very cool and welcomed us in with open arms. Everything they outline in their listing is 100% correct. The space is very well kept and the location is amazing for your visit in Seattle. The loft is located in the International District of Seattle and is a 5 minute walk from all major public transportation that you would need to get anywhere in the city. My girlfriend and I were only in the loft to sleep and get ready for our time in the city, but our time spent there was rejuvenating. The bed that is located in the sleeping area of the loft is beyond comfy and the sky light above the bed is really cool! The living area in the loft is perfect for kicking back before your trek into the city. All though the restrooms and kitchen area are communal we felt like we had the entire place to our selves. Overall the place is perfect for the price and I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Oh yeah, Jaq is an amazing artist and don't forget to appreciate her art that she has hanging in the loft.

    Justin2015-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Dirk & Jaq's place was great. The location is very well placed for public transport (light rail, bus, amtrak). It's located at the southern edge of downtown. You can easily walk to the waterfront and places like pike place or the seattle center are a bit of a longer walk. Otherwise take a bus or the light rail which are only 1-2 block(s) away. I only ever spoke to Jaq on the phone but I did meet Dirk in the hallway once or twice. They were both very nice, accommodating, helpful and keen to ensure everything was ok. Thanks for having me!

    Pete2013-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was exactly what I was looking for a short stay in Seattle. It was great to wake up to the bright skylight above the bed. And the location is pretty close to everything in downtown Seattle.

Welcome to high end living in Seattle! Perfectly located in the Belltown neighborhood of downtown, you'll be a quick walk away from all the city has to offer: • 3 min - Cafes, Bars, Food, etc. • 10m - Space Needle • 15m - Pike Place Market, Safeway, Dick's Burgers, Amazon Offices • 25m - Pioneer Square • Sculpture Park + trails is right across the street This is a great place for short or long stays: • Large, comfy room • full bathroom • Sweeping views
I've never had a guest come in and not be amazed by the sweeping views. We're willing to bet you'll love them too!
Belltown is one of the most sought after neighborhood in Seattle. Such a great place to be in when visiting Seattle!

  • First time in Seattle and we LOVED It! Beds were comfortable, room and bathroom clean and area was spacious. 20 minute walking distance to the Public Market and 5-10 minute walk to grab coffee and the nearest bar. Waking up to an amazing view was priceless. Will definitely be back.

  • Really enjoyed our stay at Alex’s place. Alex was helpful and responded quickly to our questions, giving us good tips on local dining. Amazing view of the port; comfy bed; well equipped shared space. Airy and clean. Up high and the sounds of the port wafted up to our room. Delightful. Easy walk to everywhere, including Pikes waterfront, the Space Needle and downtown. Thanks Alex.

  • Alex was an awesome host, very personable and easy to talk to. Our flight got in early and had requested if we'd be able to leave our bags before checking in, though we didn't need to after all; very accommodating and flexible. The place was clean with amazing views and a great location for tourist attractions.

This is charming detached, completely private studio guest house located centrally in the Madison Valley neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. It has a full private bathroom with shower and tub, a private keyless entrance, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator. It also has off-street parking if you're driving, and access to a charming backyard area for relaxing.
Entrance: Check-in is easy, because the door is secured with an entrance code that is not reused. No keys to get or return! We send you your code and you can enter at any time day or night without arranging a time for us to give you keys. Privacy: This is a 100% private, detached unit. Parking and Driving: There is free parking available on 30th Avenue or on Dewey behind the unit. 520 is about 5 minutes away, giving you very quick access to either I5 or the East Side. Transportation: There is a ZipCar at 24th and Madison. There are usually Car2Go cars on Madison near by. The bus stop is at E Madison St & 28th Ave E, less than a five minute walk away. Downtown is about ten minutes on the 11 bus. The 8 bus provides quick access to Seattle Center, Capitol Hill, Rainier Valley, and the Mount Baker Link station. Internet: Free internet of course. We *don't* currently have a TV in the unit. Fine Dining: Madison Valley has some of Seattle's best dining. Our favorite reastaurants within a five minute walk are: Luc, Voila, La Cote, and Belle Epicurean (all French), The Harvest Vine (Basque), Cafe Flora (vegetarian), and Jae's (Asian bistro). Fast Food: Pagliacci Pizza is located one block North East on Lake Washington Blvd and Madison. There is also a Pizza Hut (carryout or delivery only) and a Terriaki place on Madison and 28th. Groceries: For groceries Trader Joe's (Madison and 17th) and Safeway (Madison and 22nd) are within walking distance, but be aware they are uphill! Convenience Store: Madison Valley Market (Madison and 29th) is less than five minutes away and has lots of groceries, snacks, beer and wine. Coffee: The Essential Baking Company (Madison and 29th) is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, or a full meal. Belle Epicurean is also a good place for a quick cup of coffee. Bed: This is an Ikea Hemnes king-sized bed with mattress and boxsprings. Bath: You get a full private bathroom with a soaker tub, shower, and plenty of towels. Kitchen: You have a half-sized refridgerator with freezer in the unit that you can use. There is also a kitchen sink, a microwave and a small (two person) coffeemaker. We also provide a tea kettle, a hot-plate and a small sauce pan. (Although we don't recommend this kitchen for lots of cooking as there is no kitchen exhaust fan.) Safety: This is one of Seattle's safest neighborhoods. Since you're in our backyard, we're around in case you need any assistance. Health & Fitness: Lila Yoga (29th and Madison) is a fantastic yoga studio. Kate's Day Spa (2713 E. Madison Street) is an excellent place to relax, and is open on weekends. Seattle Shambhala Center is a Buddhist Temple and is located two blocks down. It has an Open House (good for beginners) every Thursday evening. Arboretum: The best thing about this neighborhood is the Arboretum. You're less than five minutes away -- just cross Madison. Arboretum highlights include hiking, canoeing and kayaking, picnics, a full soccer court, and enjoying the year-round collection of magnificent flowers, plants and trees. The Arboretum also houses the Seattle Japanese Garden, open from February to November, a 3 1/2 acre formal garden. It features a lake with koi and turtles, community room rentals, tea ceremonies and special events all year round. At the north end of the park is Foster Island, which is an amazing and peaceful place to visit, with pedestrian trails that connect the island to the mainland. Madison Park: Madison Park is within walking distance, although a longer walk than some may want to take. In the summer this park becomes Seattle's access to swim in Lake Washington.
Madison Valley is a charming Seattle village with a European flair. We offer an eclectic mix of sophisticated shops, services, and restaurants. Our independently owned businesses attract visitors from afar, and shopkeepers greet customers by name. Here you’ll find people enjoying the good life, strolling the sidewalks, pausing to chat and explore. Join us, say hello, and stay awhile.
  • The location was fantastic. Close to downtown and lots of great restaurants and parks within walking distance. We loved the backyard to hang with our pup as well.

    Melissa2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Seamless arrangements. Gorgeous and fun little place in a stellar location. Great shower, comfy bed, super clean. We loved it and would visit again. Also, great restaurants within walking distance.

  • Excellent place to stay while visiting Seattle! Julius was very easy to communicate with on airbnb. I highly recommend staying here and would do so again in the future.

    Brian2014-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy garden oasis. Lovely space that makes you feel as if you are in the countryside yet minutes from the city and walking distance to Madison valley restaurants and shops. Sparkling clean with thoughtful touches and great windows to let in fresh air. Will be staying here again.

    Frantz2019-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Julius responded to our emails very promptly which made check in super easy. He was very friendly. We never actually met our host, and that was totally ok because everything was taken care of and info such as nearby restaurants was readily available. The location was fantastic - close to great restaurants and bakeries, within walking distance to Washington Park Arboretum, and on a super quiet street with plenty of free parking. We didn't have a need to go downtown, but if we had the house was a 5 minute walk from a bus stop. The Guest House was stocked with everything we needed including an iron and a blow dryer. The king sized bed was very comfy, and there wasn't anything we lacked. Btw, take note there is no tv, which was a plus in my book. We chose to eat out every meal, but there was a good size mini fridge, microwave and hot plate which would have made putting together a small meal pretty easy. Overall, I would recommend the Guest House for a stay in Seattle, and I will be booking a stay for my next trip soon.

    Tami2015-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Julius was responding really quickly and he gave us extra info while we were there. The neighbourhood was about a 20min busride from downtown but it has its own little center of very good restaurants and shops. The room/unit has everything you have at home so more than enough for your holiday!

    Maarten2014-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Julius had the coolest little back unit. We arrived pretty late, and he was very accomodating to make sure we had accurate directions and were able to get in with the keypad lock, which made it a breeze. The room was very clean, and felt more like a hotel room. Plus it was in a nice, quiet neighborhood but still very close to the city. Only down side, we weren't able to meet him during our stay. Hopefully next time! We will definitely be staying here again.

    James2014-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Julius was an awesome host! He gave quick answers to my questions and was very friendly. The guest house is absolutely adorable and has everything you need. It sits in the backyard of the main house which is also gorgeous. As 2 girls traveling alone we were very comfortable here and felt very safe. The keyless entry made coming and going very easy. The bed was so comfy! The location is awesome and there is plenty of parking in this beautiful neighborhood. My only regret was not finding this place sooner and booking my whole trip here!! I will definitely be back again and will recommend this place to my friends and family!!

100% self-contained studio loft attached to main house overlooking small city park. Nothing is shared. 160 sq. foot 1st floor with kitchen (gas stove/full fridge) plus 140 sq ft loft bedroom climbed via ladder, plus full bath with washer/dryer. Fully furnished (linens/pans, etc). "Flexible" check-in means unit is ready by 1pm, or earlier if prior guests left early (you can drop off bags early). Late arrivals are fine. Check-out time is 12pm, or later if the next guests are arriving later.
While our house is 110 years old, this cottage is only 25, and was built by a contractor given the task of "creating the feel of a Vermont cabin." It is your own space, with private entry, and is separate from our other unit on Airbnb ("Private entrance and central"). Queen bed in loft. Through your windows you will see lots of trees, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and endless squirrels. Inside you will find art from our many travels, including India, Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, etc. We supply pots/pans/towels. Just bring your clothes. Two caveats: First, if you don't feel comfortable climbing a ladder to your bed, or climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, this is not the spot for you. Second, while the first floor ceiling height is 7 feet, the upstairs loft ceiling is shaped like an "A-frame" roof, with the center being around 6 feet, sloping lower as you crawl into bed. Our first tenant of 7 years was a 6-foot female, who was quite content. Both her and our later tenant had regular-visiting boyfriends who seemed just fine without banging their heads. But, if you don't want to duck as you get into bed, this is not the spot for you. Two guests only - sorry, no extra guests.
"Madrona" is one of the most central/desired neighborhoods in Seattle. You can walk 45 minutes to downtown, or in the other direction to Lake Washington or in another direction to the vibrant Capitol Hill. Or take a 20-30 minute bus ride to each, or drive there in 10 minutes. Within a 10 minute walk you have access to a supermarket, roughly 15 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, and a bakery around the corner from our house.
  • Se mostró muy amable y me apoyó en todo lo que necesité.

  • Our stay at Phil and Andrea’s was absolutely amazing. Their space was beautiful and quaint like a tree house in the middle of the city. It was the perfect stay for a couple of days and within walking distance to many local eateries. Phil even made us homemade scones it is a space I will definitely look for when I visit again !!!!

    Skylyn2019-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot in a quiet secluded neighborhood. As described the place was cozy and well appointed . Would not hesitate to recommend . Phil was a great host and made me feel very welcome!

  • Can't have asked for a better experience! Phil and Andrea's cottage was exactly as described and beautiful. This is the place to stay in Seattle! Phil seemed happy to provide recommendations for places to see and eat, making us feel at home. The location was perfect and we can't wait for our next stay here.

    Jordan2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Phil and Andrea’s place was one of my top air bnb places I’ve stayed. Perfect loft space with clear instructions. Unique touches throughout with art from world travels. We were even welcomed with delicious scones!!! The neighborhood is close to downtown but quiet, quaint and close to great Ethiopian food. I wish we stayed longer.

    Kelly2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Solid Place. No issues.

  • My wife and I booked this Airbnb for our honeymoon for 4 nights. Our stay was more amazing and memorable. The Airbnb was clean and really beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The outside area was great and relaxing. We are so happy that we chose Phil and Andrea because they are amazing hosts. They left us baked goods that were delicious! The neighborhood is very quiet and scenic. It almost feels like a hallmark movie! We would recommend Phil and Andrea's Airbnb to everyone!

    Garrett2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Phil and Andrea's loft is so beautiful! It was easy to find, and the area was safe and comfortable. They know exactly how to make you feel at home with everything they have available to you in the home. The inside was cozy and it's just enough space to do everything you need. The outside is so breathtakingly fresh. There's even a small little trail you can walk on the side of the location. If you're looking for an intimate stay I would definitely recommend this loft. Phil and Andrea are great with accommodating your needs. This was our first stay in Seattle and I'm glad that I chose this place. They made it clear that they wanted our first stay in Seattle to be a wonderful one. They're very open and ready to respond to your questions. They are not overbearing at all. This time we stayed they were out of town but I still felt like they were always available to help with anything I was concerned about. Definitely coming back here again! Great hosts, great place, great memories! Thank you Phil and Andrea!

Right off of Yesler street. This space provides an open view of the city. Sleeps 2 people in a full bed. Property includes laundry mat and gym. Access to pool table, TV, and vending machine in the common area. Several blocks away there are convenient stores as well as Broadcast Coffee Shop and local bars.
The room has a standard bed, a full size fridge, a coffee maker, a desk & chair, and a private bathroom with a shower.
There isn't much of a neighborhood because the apartment is located right off of the sidewalk and you just enter straight into the courtyard.
  • La habitación es muy bonita y la cama super cómoda. El edificio tiene lavandería y una zona común para poder cocinar una mesa grande para comer, billar, televisión.....

  • I thought I was in store for a relaxing 3 day weekend in Seattle. Boy was I wrong. The confirmation email I received on the room differed from the address listed where I was supposed to check in, and also differed from the room I thought I had booked. After checking in I received a txt from Ella saying I had checked into the wrong room, but due to her miss-step we could stay in the present room. I got a txt waking me up the next morning asking us to vacate the room, and switch to the other. Txts continued. After agreeing to switch rooms, we were told to leave our bags in the room and they would be transferred to the next room for us. Before dinner on the 2nd night, I received a txt from Ella saying that the occupants of our first room were wondering when we would be back to remove our bags from their room. After replying reminding her that she said this would be done for us, she acknowledged that it hadn’t, and our bags were still in the first room with total strangers. Txts continued all day all 3 days and really brought down the relaxing weekend we were hoping to have. Nothing was offered for the unconvienence of switching rooms, or leaving our bags in a room with other occupants. I’ve never experienced a host so unorganized and irresponsible, and rude. She clearly has no idea how things are running at this location. The constant back and forth all day over our 3 day stay was absolutely rediculous. She should not be a host if this is how she treats her guests. Extremely rude, and unaccomadating. Looking back on our weekend a week ago, the first thing that comes to mind was how rediculous our Air BnB host was. We won’t be staying here ever again, and don’t recommend this host to anyone.

  • New, well designed student accomodation, up 5 flights of stairs (no elevator), spotlessly clean with good amenities. Easy 25 minute walk to pioneer square, as well as public transport nearby. I would not recommend staying in summer, as the room was very hot (hotter than outside), and there was no block out blind. Ella did provide us with a Dyson fan which helped, and we used the terrace which is just outside the front door of the apartment. All in all, a good value choice!

  • A very good appartment in a really good place of Seattle : pionner square. Everything is near this appartement : Subway, Starbuck, supermarket and parking. And the bar the Merchants, of course!! The appartement is cute and practice. If you have a very light sleeper, take earplug but it's ok for the others.

  • Lars was a wonderful host and apartment was very cozy and clean. Would love to return when I have the chance!

  • Lars was a welcoming host for this cozy space in a lovely neighborhood within easy reach of the University District. He offered restaurant ideas and other local tips. The place is comfortable and has the kitchen basics should you choose to bring groceries and prepare food. Street parking is free and readily available.

  • Great host, perfect location for young couple traveling. Close to everything or an Uber away from downtown.

    Nick2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lars was welcoming and helpful. I booked the place for my visiting parents due to my small studio. The location was close to me, easy street parking, and it's fairly close to I-5 for access.

    Amy2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lars was a fantastic host and provided some much-needed insight for first-timers in Seattle. The studio was clean, private, and bright which made it a great home base as we explored the city for the first time. This was an absolutely amazing place!

    Anna2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the urban wilderness. It was private and you could walk to restaurants. It is a close transit trip to the city. It was a lovely area and Lars was a welcoming host.

  • This a decent option if you are on a tight budget. Check in/out is super easy and the room is very clean. Fruit selection and drip coffee available in the morning. Considering the price, the only downsides to consider are that the private shower is very small, and the towels and pillows are well worn out and could use an upgrade.

    Annelise2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! Beth is incredibly warm and welcoming, and her accommodations were exactly what we needed. At the end of the busy day of adventuring around Seattle, it was like coming home. Highly recommended!

    Kaitlyn2015-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beth was great, very accommodating. She communicated very well esp upon our arrival. Beth was always available to give suggestions. She even asked us to move our car into the driveway to give us peace of mind when we were sleeping. The neighborhood was beautiful and close to Safeway and restaurants. Will be back ! Thanks again, Beth!

    Jennifer2016-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beth is very sincere about hosting people. We were there for just one night and came in at a very short notice, but all the basic requirements were all laid out clearly for us. She is non-intrusive and professional and has a good clean house.

The house is a short walk to Ballard Locks. The gardens, restaurants, bars, music venues, and shops of Old Ballard are within easy walking distance. A 24-hour supermarket, 10 brewpubs, and many coffee shops and breakfast places are nearby. There's free street parking all around. It can become more crowded during the weekends and evenings (Ballard is a tourist/leisure destination), but a walk of more than one block is unusual. You are welcome to back down the driveway to offload luggage first.
  • Super cute space in Ballard! Very comfortable, very relaxing, and not far from many different activities, bars, and restaurants. Fraser was very hospitable, and great throughout the process. Would definitely stay there again.

    Brenna2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! We landed past midnight and Fraser outlined the directions to the house as well as how to get in beautifully, we didn’t feel lost or confused at anytime even at 2 in the morning. We loved the welcome info and candies and although we had our own ORCA cards for transportation, it was extremely thoughtful that a few were provided during the stay. The place was exactly as pictured, better actually, and we enjoyed all the amenities and the huge amount of space. We loved that it was close to public transit and it was in the cutest part of town. We would definitely stay here again and again! Their dog Kobe was also a great plus! So cute and friendly!

    Veronica Jean2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Comfortable and quiet.

    Jayme2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • I took a complete shot in the dark when booking my stay in Seattle because I really didn't know much about the city. As luck would have it, I ended up in the perfect spot. The Ballard neighborhood is really cool, with tons of eating and shopping options. And Fraser's house is a 10-minute walk to the Chittendon Locks and a 15-minute drive to the beautiful Golden Gardens Park. The room is really large with a beautiful view of the neighborhood from the patio. I can't emphasize enough how friendly this whole family is, including Kobe the dog. Highly recommend!

    Amy2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Fraser's place was perfect for us! Super clean and very stylish indeed. It's great value for money. The bed was massive and fabulous:-) and the balcony was a lovely bonus. Fraser and Jan and Kobe the dog were so friendly and gave us ideas about what we might do for the few days we had in Seattle. The house is a 10 minute walk from Ballard centre which is a very cool area, great Sunday market and some excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. Frasers place is safe, quiet and lovely. Would highly recommend and will be back again next year if they will have us:-) One last thing, Fraser also offers a pick up and drop off service to the airport, station or ferry. Very helpful indeed!

    Sarah2018-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean , relaxing and perfectly located place look no further. This beautiful space in the Ballard neighborhood which is quite and has everything you might want to within walking distance plus is a quick Uber ride to down town & all the tourist attractions. We will be coming back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

    Karla2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fraser’s place was wonderful. The patio was a really great little private space. We also enjoyed the location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Ballard Locks. Will definitely be back when I’m in Seattle.

This is a beautiful 3 story townhouse in a great location. I live in one of the other rooms, and I rent the other one on Airbnb as well. It is close to Seattle U and Pike and Pine. The room itself is small with a sliding door the front area. I also have a medium sized shy dog.
MUST LIKE DOGS (I have a medium dog). The room available is a small guest room with a twin bed. The apartment overall is very spacious. The location is amazing, it has a walking score of 95, and there is also good public transportation. I live in the place and there is another Airbnb room so it’s well lived in but reasonably priced.
The apartment is in Capital Hill, 2 blocks from 12th street and a few blocks form pike and pine. There are many restaurants and bars and grocery stores all within walking distance. It's also very close to Cherry Hill Medical center and 2 blocks from Seattle U.
  • This place perfectly fit my needs. I liked that my room was on the bottom floor for privacy and ease of access (no lugging luggage up stairs). Though others remarked on the cleanliness, to me it made me more comfortable that the apartment was lived in and actively used (i.e. not sparkling clean at all times or completely minimalist). You are, after all, staying in someone's house! I'm not always a huge fan of dogs but Megan's was incredibly well behaved, kept to himself, and never bothered me. Megan was quick to respond and always helpful.

    Jacqueline2019-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • My flight was delayed getting in and Megan was nice enough to stay up till after 12am for me. The house is clean, room was spotless. Easy walking in to town and good running routes near by. Nice quite neighbourhood. Would recommend this place. And would stay again.

    Aaron2016-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was just as described. Very comfortable stay, easy access to get in, even if no one is home. Was there one night only but felt very comfortable and safe in that neighborhood.

    Carolina2018-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place near Seattle university area and lots of attractions if you like to walk around the city. Enjoyed the fact that my room was close to the exit as I felt I had more privacy.

    Joss2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Megan's place was a pleasure to stay at. The room was exactly as described and was perfect for my needs. I only met Megan briefly but her communication before I arrived was quick and prompt, and she was able to accommodate a schedule change for me a week before my arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would love to stay again if I am ever in Seattle again.

    Henry2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely modern apartment, simple room with lots of privacy as it's two floors below the other bedrooms. I walked everywhere I needed to go in town.

  • This apartment is wonderful for 2-3 guests. Is a studio apartment so the kitchen and bathroom are on the small side but very functional, and there is no separate bedroom but the apartment is so vintage, quaint, and true to "old Seattle" it was a joy to stay there. I never felt unsafe and the entire apartment was very clean. When we arrived, the elevator (which is the oldest in the city) was broken and being repaired so we had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs and the following morning we woke up to no water (a pipe in basement had burst). We were on the verge of tears thinking we had made a terrible mistake but by that evening we had both water and a working elevator. Kevin communicated to us the entire time the repairs were going on and refunded us one day for our inconvenience. Day 2 and the remainder of our trip was near perfect. The apartment location was a 10+ and far exceeded the value of staying in a boring, luxury- hotel. We were a 5 minute walk to Pike Place Market and all the shops and restaurants in the area, and a 5 minute Uber ride to the Needle. Kevin was an awesome host and I highly recommend his apartment when visiting Seattle!

    Janice2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were stopping off in Seattle for a few days and the apartment was well situated in the middle of the Belltown neighborhood. It was walking distance from many restaurants, bars, and interesting spots. They were very easy to communicate with and were available to help with any small questions we had. The apartment was clean and suited our needs as we did some sightseeing and visited friends. The building itself proudly touts the oldest elevator in the city. A good space in a cool spot in the city.

    David2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is exactly as described in the profile, but the building is very old and definitely could use some renovations (typical downtown Seattle). The elevator was installed in 1918 with a pull gate, it worked for most of my time there. The greatest thing about this apartment is that it is right in the middle of everything. You can walk to Pike’s Market, the Space Needle and everything in between. There are tons of restaurants right outside your door along with music and good vibes.

    Coleen2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin’s place is in the perfect location for exploring all there is to do in Seattle! it is extremely easy to access by train from the airport and within walking distance to all major attractions. you will feel right at home in this cozy apartment!

    Emina2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Very walkable. As others have mentioned the noise at night can be painful if you are a light sleeper. I'm not and Michael provided a great white noise generator to alleviate any pain. Great host highly recommend this place.

    Ankit2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at Kevin’s place! It was clean and spacious enough for our visit. Checking in was a breeze and Kevin was quick to communicate. This spot is in a great location, very close and walkable to lots of popular destinations. We hardly needed to use cabs or uber. Overall, it’s a great value!

    Mary2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in a great location. It was especially convenient getting off light rail. Kevin was hospitable and helpful. Easy walking to attractions such as Pike's Market and is located on a street with a vibrant night life.

    Erin2015-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it! A sweet, small place that is great for a solo traveler or couple while enjoying Seattle. Would definitely stay the night again whenever we’re up for a visit!

Our home is a place where folks of all walks of life are welcome. We're located close to SEA-TAC airport on a quiet street in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood. We're relatively new home-owners who take pride in our space and are excited to share it with travelers. Guests will have access to the entire lower-level of our home where you'll have the privacy and space for a very laid-back stay in Seattle.
The space we're offering is ideal for 1-4 people. There is a large private bedroom (with a queen bed) and the option to put a queen air mattress in the spacious private living room and dining area. There is also a private bathroom with a shower for guests only. There's a full sized living room with a TV and Netflix access. The dining area has a breakfast table and a "kitchenette" that consists of a mini-fridge and microwave (ideal for leftovers or DIY breakfast), and coffee maker / tea kettle. PLEASE NOTE: there is NOT an oven or stove in the suite. We provide complimentary coffee and tea, and the rest is up to you.
Rainier Beach is a quiet, low-key, diverse neighborhood in south Seattle with a number of hidden gems. Our favorite is the short 5-minute walk to Kubota Gardens, one of Seattle's most beautiful public parks - ideal for a morning or evening stroll. We also live about a 10-minute walk from Safeway, a major grocery store with everything you might need for DIY breakfasts. Within a 15-minute walk you can find great spots like Redwing Coffee, Jude's Tavern, and a number of other restaurant options. We're also a short drive from hot spots like Columbia City (with everything), gorgeous Seward Park, or the Museum of Flight - and that's all just in south Seattle. With the Link Light Rail only a mile away, most of Seattle's top sights are easily navigated on public transportation.
  • Very nice place with everything you could ask for!

    Aiden2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! The space was so inviting, comfortable, and clean. Check in was easy and Lynsey was very responsive. It was about a mile to a light rail station which was nice. We would absolutely stay there again next time we are in Seattle!

  • This place is a great location and short drive to SeaTac airport and Pike Place Market. It was what I expected plus some more. My fiancée and I love the decor and appreciates the small touches (water, coffee/tea, serve wares). Highly recommend to anyone and will be staying here again.

Amazing place for travelers to stay. This modern studio apartment is just steps away from downtown, you will love this studio and its location. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances including dishwasher. Full size washer/dryer. We have added a smart TV with Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. Great city/ Capitol Hill location - walkable to hundreds of restaurants and bars. Parking is available, but spaces are compact.

Barn 11 is a small 300sf rustic wood structure located on a tree-lined side-street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, near dozens of shops and restaurants and just one mile from Downtown Seattle. Rate includes free parking in our parking lot, and WiFi. Breakfast service is not included or available.
Barn 11 has wood floors, kitchenette, bathroom, upstairs bedroom, parking, and WiFi. Downstairs ceiling is 7'4" high, however headroom on the stairs, and in the upstairs bedroom, is lower. The unit is not recommended for guests over 6' tall, or for guests who are not comfortable going up and down the steep and narrow open staircase.
We are 1.0 mile from Downtown Seattle - a 20 minute walk, and 1.5 miles from the Pike Place Market and from Seattle Center where the Space Needle is - a 30 minute walk. Most of our guests walk to Downtown. We're near dozens of Capitol Hill restaurants, shops, and a popular park.
  • The barn was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Only a block and a half from the Link and multiple bus lines, the location was one of the best features for first time Seattle visitors. There are also tons of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Melanie helped us out during our stay and stopped by each day to straighten up (it really feels more like a part of the BnB in the main property. I'd highly recommend this listing to others.

    Jane2016-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in barn 11 which had everything we needed and more. The breakfast in the house was wonderfully prepared every morning for us in the dining room. It was nice to have coffee, tea and chocolates available to us at all times. What a gem!

    Kristine2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • The barn was such a special place to stay. Location was nice to be outside of downtown, in a neighborhood with character and cool stores/ bars/ restaurants. But right by the link rail and an easy walk to the city. The space itself was clean and comfortable. It was unique too, and a great value for what you get. David was a terrific host, he communicated clearly and promptly. I highly recommend staying here.

  • I really had the most fantastic time. It began with a great intro by David. He recommended several amazing spots to me including the conservatory in Volunteer park which I loved visiting. The barn is adorable and I kept finding myself thinking "I would live here if I could!" Of course it helped that the terrific housekeeping service kept the place stocked up with fresh towels and amenities. The location cannot be beat. Walking distance to EVERYTHING. It couldn't have been better.

  • Really great tiny house in a barn- only like a barn on the outside! Inside like a designer tiny home. Everything you need for a stay and a 2 minute walk to the train and Broadway. Lots of tips provided, loved this place.

  • We stayed in "Barn 11" and really enjoyed the cleanliness and the privacy of this out-building. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

  • Great location, had a parking spot for our rather large truck so that we could uber around instead of struggle to park! Super accommodating with check in and great with communication! The barn house itself was adorable and the perfect size to stay. :)

This apartment is located on the lively side of Capitol Hill. The living room has a great view of the city! Though the building is old, the interior of apartment is updated with nice bright wood finishing. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance of apartment. Like most of the city apartment, you will expect to hear slight crowd noise especially in the weekend. However I do provide ear plugs for you who are noise sensitive.
This corner 3rd floor unit has great westward views of downtown and the Space Needle. With over 650 square feet and a full separate bedroom, it's quite spacious. The couch is large and comfy and can be used for the third person to sleep on. The 42 inch Smart TV features Netflix, Hulu and 40+ basic channels. The kitchen is nicely equipped. I provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar, cooking oil, and salt and pepper. Some possible items you may find not suitable: 1. There is no elevator in the building. 2. The windows are single pane. So, street and bar crowd noise can be heard. I do provide ear plugs for those who are sensitive to it.
Experience Seattle as a local does. Not only can you enjoy downtown and the sights, which are located within a few blocks of my place, you can live like a local in Capitol Hill. Capitol Hill is where the best restaurants, bars, and cafes in Seattle are located. If you're looking to hit the bars, parks or sights or want to try a different coffee shop within a block each day of the week, you've found the right place. I personally enjoy Victrola Coffee, CC'attles bars, and Kedai Makan, a Malaysian restaurant 2 blocks away.
  • The location is amazing. This place was immaculately clean. Nearby there was fantastic night life and great restaurants. It's walking distance for me to anywhere I wanted to go. The only downside may be that parking can be tough, but I found close garages for $10 within a couple of blocks so it wasn't a problem at al. The description on the listing is exactly what you get and the photos are not the place in its best ever condition - it's actually that nice and clean. The host was gracious, respectful, and helpful. Check in was super easy and communication was perfect.

  • James' place is absolutely perfect. Clean, bright, roomy, and in a great location, this place was ideal for a quick business trip in Seattle, and I'd love to come back and stay again. The directions to check in were very clear, and check out was easy. There's a lively neighborhood right by the place that you can walk to for any bars or food, but it didn't cause any commotion at night. Would definitely come back!

  • James was a great host and provided a lot of recommendations on places to eat in the area which was appreciated. He made sure the place was ready for our early arrival and the check-in/out process is very easy. While the apartment is in an old building, the apartment itself was very clean and homey. The location was great - very close to public transportation and places to eat. While there was no AC, there is a ceiling fan above the bed and an extra box fan. It was a bit louder than expected for week nights but there are ear plugs if needed. There was also an umbrella and tea/coffee to enjoy. Overall it was a great place! You can't go wrong staying here!

  • Perfect place and just a few minute walk to downtown Seattle. James was very helpful upon check in and everything went smoothly. If you're looking for a place within walking distance, this place is perfect! We didn't need to rent a car and just walked/Uber. James is very helpful especially if you're new to Seattle, he's pretty much our concierge while we stayed there. I highly recommend booking through James and surely will book again in the near future. Thanks James!

  • Fantastic old little corner apartment that has great view in every direction. Great layout that allows either one big space or two private ones. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as the bathroom. There's a grocery/convenience store around the corner and it's a 15 min walk to Pike Place.

  • This was a great little oasis in the middle of vibrant Seattle. Regina was a wonderful hostess and we would love to come back here.

    Nate2016-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • My teenage daughter and I enjoyed a thoroughly delightful experience at Regina's cottage! We found all to be as pictured: artsy and completely charming. Regina welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed, including tips for what we wanted to do. The accommodations were very comfortable and quiet. The Wallingford neighborhood is within an easy walk, where we enjoyed great meals, fun coffee shop visits and shopping, including a wonderful grocery store. I visited Gas Works Park, an easy walk in the opposite direction, for a panoramic view of Seattle. All in all a perfect trip and we hope to stay with Regina again!

  • Loved the cozy cottage! Perfect location, comfy bed and great vibes!

  • We stayed one night at Regina's cottage and it fitted our needs perfectly. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient (close to downtown and the university district). Regina was welcoming and helpful and we just wish we had more time in the area to check out her yoga studio in the main house.

    Anne2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Super responsive hosts and a no-fuss, easy place to stay. Quiet, private and warm.

Our contemporary studio is filled with lots of warm and inviting touches that will instantly make you feel welcome and comfortable. Located in the heart of the Columbia City neighborhood, the studio comfortably sleeps two and is only one block from great restaurants, shops and entertainment. Additionally, it’s only four blocks from the Columbia City light rail station so it’s easy and convenient to get around or go exploring without a car. This is a great place to start your stay in Seattle!
We designed the space with the Airbnb traveler in mind, so it will quickly become your home away from home. This is a completely separate 250 sq. ft. studio that sits behind the main house. It’s modeled after a boutique hotel room and loft studio with its modern design, high ceiling, contemporary finishes, and lots of natural light. Inside you’ll find a queen bed with fluffy pillows and blankets, a coffee and breakfast bar with complementary coffee, water, snacks and a small refrigerator and microwave. Additionally, the studio has a hand made table made from reclaimed redwood which is large enough to accommodate two for a meal or serve as a desk to get some work done. Finally there’s a comfy club chair and ottoman so you can do some reading or watch TV. The contemporary theme is continued in the bathroom with its granite countertop and subway tiles in the shower. The bathroom also has a fair sized closet with enough room to hang a few items and store your folded clothes. We provide towels and washcloths for two people, as well as a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and an iron and ironing board. Behind the studio is a dedicated off-street parking space with access via the alley. Getting here is easy as it’s only a four block walk from the Columbia City light rail station and less than 10 minutes from Interstate 5. A bus stop that services several routes is only a block away, should you want to take the bus to get around during your stay. ------------------------------------------- Check out our Guidebook to see all of the great restaurants and other things to do in Columbia City that are all within a two block walk. The guidebook can be found in the upper right corner of the page on the web site only. ----------------------------------------------- The door has a keypad entry lock which makes check in / check out quick and easy. If you like, I'll meet you at the space take a few minutes to show you how things work or you can check yourself in. Registered guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit and everything inside including the complementary beverages and snacks. You’ll also have use of the dedicated off-street parking space which is big enough for a large sedan. The main house is a duplex and both units are rented by our full time tenants so our interaction with each other depends on you. We'll meet you at check in to show you around the space and answer any questions. We live only a few blocks away and are available via phone or text to provide advice, directions, etc. should you need them. Columbia city is one of the most walkable neighborhoods with plenty of restaurants, shops vintage stores and an active night life all only one block away. Several bus routes with frequent schedules are only one block away, four blocks away is the Columbia City light rail station which provides service to downtown Seattle in about 20 minutes or the airport in about 30 minutes.
Columbia city is one of the most walkable neighborhoods with plenty of restaurants, shops vintage stores and an active night life all only one block away.
  • Fabulous value and location. Quiet, but still walkable to many great shops and restaurants. Only 4 blocks to light rail, making it easy to get to and from the airport, downtown or up to Capitol Hill. One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had! Thank you for your hospitality and very comfortable and equipped tiny home.

  • Such a cute tiny home with all the essentials. Just a block away from a Main Street in the Columbia City neighborhood; lots of cute places and a really good ice cream shop called Molly Moons! No AC but i guess that’s a Seattle thing. Lol

  • Perfect little studio in the center of Columbia City. Comfortable, private, and quiet. Literally a 3 minute walk from bars, restaurants and buses and 8 minutes from the LINK rail to downtown/airport.

  • The studio was just as described and we had a great stay. Marcus was very accommodating and the check in/check out process could not have been simpler. The studio is about a 10 min walk to the light rail and from the light rail about 20 minutes to downtown. We enjoyed the unique restaurants right down the street from the studio.

Century old house on a tree lined street offers a comfy queen bed. Right next to the fabulous Pike/Pine district with all its cafes, bars, and renowned restaurants. Next door to Capitol Hill, long one of the centers of Seattle's artistic life, and its historic gay neighborhood. And a short walk from Pike/Pine will put you in the heart of Downtown and its famously cool Pike Place Market.
We live in a cool old house that's almost 120, and it's been in progress for the 25 years that we've been here; always a project happening somewhere, whether taking out a wall, patching plaster, or putting up new molding. It's a much more finished space than back in the day to our relief, and our guest's comfort. There are two bedrooms on the first floor that we offer guests (Bedroom #1 & Bedroom #2). Each has a newer queen bed and closet space. They are not directly on the street, so while we are in a city, it's a pretty peaceful night. The bath is adjacent and is shared if both rooms are occupied. There is a Keurig coffee maker with coffee and tea available for guests. There is a parking space for each room in the alley behind our house.
We've watched as our 'hood (Pike/Pine) has become a mecca for food, drink, and art. We have nationally recognized restaurants and bars (as well as food trucks) within blocks. Music venues, and theaters allow for an exciting night life. Many coffee houses, interesting retail, and the best book store in Seattle keep the days interesting. The Seattle International Film Festival and the NW Film Forum both have local theaters with daily showings of indie films. We also have Central Co-op, a great place to shop for local and organic foods. Our neighborhood has a great diversity of people. Capitol Hill (just north of Pike/Pine) has been the city's gayborhood for years; Pike/Pine has been home to many of Seattle's arts community, visual, dance, theater; and Seattle University is just two blocks away. We live on a side street of homes from the early 1900's with several older brick apartment buildings mixed in. Its relaxed and low-key, a great place to walk and wander.

  • Kevin and Louis were both very friendly, and super helpful. We got a lot of great tips on places to check out. They were also very accommodating with check in times and just in general. It's a wonderful location, and a short walk to everything we wanted to see. I'd definitely recommend their place, and I'd love to stay there again.

  • The home was certainly relaxing and warm. The neighborhood was quiet itself, but surrounded by an amazing array of restaurants, bars, and other happenings. Kevin and Louis were so welcoming, succeeding in making us feel like we were positive additions to their home. Why does anyone bother with hotels?
