Sonka Resort – Mirror House • Lake View

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

You can enjoy the nature and scenery to the river during your stay. While you are enjoying the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, you might have chance to see the northern lights. This mini house can accommodate 4 people comfortably but we have beds even for 6. It has full kitchen and living room with windows facing river, sauna, shower, toilet and two bedrooms with big windows facing the forest. Outside it has two spacious terrace's, one with jacuzzi. The building has just been completed.

Talviaamuna voit kävellä kauniilla lumisilla metsäpoluilla, kuunnella luonnon hiljaisuutta ja hengittää raikasta ilmaa.

Villa Vasa is located right next to Reindeer Farm Porohaka , so you can easily visit farm and book activities (Dec-Mar). If you want to relax in the middle of nature by the lake and admire the nature and the amount of light from the magnificent high window, this place is for you. 1 hour drive from Rovaniemi. Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
