Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Rustic ocean lodge with sea-side sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Herlig hytte med nydelig utsikt til vann og fjell

"Utsikten" er navnet på stedet og gjør ære på navnet. Hytten ligger på gården "Sollia", som har vært i familien i flere generasjoner. Her har du direkte tilgang til naturen og omgivelsene på fot, sykkel eller ski. Lite lysforurensing, en romslig veranda og herlig hage. Her kan du bade i Skogsfjordvannet om sommeren eller ta deg en aketur på vinteren. Kanskje vil du ha en utfordring å bestige "Nondagstind"? Vil du ha både ro og urbane fasiliteter så er Tromsø by bare en times kjøring unna.

Apartment in beautiful Grøtfjord

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

This is a unique place only 20 minutes from airport (22 km). You have everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can be up to 5 persons sleeping there. Easy to hire car and find the place. Nordlys guider pleier å stoppe utenfor hytta fordi det er et spesielt fint sted for nordlys. Opplev fred og naturskjønn ro i denne romslige hytten kun minutter fra Tromsø sentrum og flyplass. Nyt et eksepsjonelt nordlys paradis, fjell, skog, fjellvann og hav, alt rett utenfor døren.
