Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Located on Diamond Lake in Cassopolis Michigan an all season spacious cottage suitable for everyone. Whether your wanting a quite weekend retreat or a family get together this cottage meets your needs. Large two story open concept with a loft, 2 private bedrooms, three full bathrooms, large 2nd floor with 2 king beds, 2 pull out couches gives you plenty of sleeping room. Large porch and second story balcony over look the lake. Full access to beautiful diamond lake, plenty of onsite parking.

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

We have 2 air bnbs on this property. airbnb.com/h/satoricottage We are only 7 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Lodge, 30 minutes to Shipshewana Indiana, 34 miles to Notre Dame 40 minutes away from Kalamazoo Air museum. Gable Hill wedding Venue is only 7 minutes away.
